What? Being ranked #1 is the best. Thus, closer to #1 you are, the better... If you go from 10 to 8, which is a good thing, yet a negative number, a green arrow pointing up makes sense.

RE: KJ's pun -- counter-productive is both a negative and a positive. Interesting. It can mean "productive to being a counter" or "the opposite of being productive". +1 on that pun.

Yeah, I see it now. The numbers that are rankings tell you how much they have moved up (toward #1) So that -6777 type number would be moving up. The other numbers that are not rankings but just a data type number like daily visits give a percentage increase or decrease. And for WoO, all the data was increases. Good for WoO. As I said that is a good site and not what we are talking about here. This thread is talking strictly the message board site WoV and although it has rebounded slightly in recent months, the numbers are still down significantly from several years ago. So Axel posting data from WoO, seems like a misdirect, maybe unintentional.

Axel was replying to your post where you said a website figured WOO/WOV were worth $155k/$15k respectively.

I'm not sure how those websites that figure what a website is worth do what they do, but I don't think it has anything to do with any type of product they are selling or bonuses they get from online casino referrals. I imagine those types of websites look at things like hits/views, ads, etc. So a website like Amazon would like show a very low value amount compared to what they actually make, when you include sales and whatnot.

Also, I think back when WOV was more popular and lots of threads and discussions going on, it seems like that may have been because of more drama type stuff or non-gambling related topics, like the hot blonde challenge, something about juicy jennie, etc. Not that I don't like reading lots of drama, because I do, but drama doesn't really add value (or at least value that I'm seeking) on an AP forum. Most of the time here on GF, there is no AP-related value, although sometimes someone will post something that'll pique my interest. But the rest of the time (99.9%?) it's just drama or stupid shit going on (ie: this thread or any roulette thread).

I don't think that site knows anything about how online casinos/affiliates work and the money involved.

WoV being down in numbers might just be the natural order of things. 2 + 2 is way down from the numbers they used to get.

Alan Mendelson said on his latest trip to Vegas the Wizard of Odds sign was gone from I-15. Mission? Fisk? Can anyone enlighten us as to what happened?

Shacky is a long-time gambler. Eventually having to sell off his livelihood was no retreat from further losses. Gamblers "turn over a new leaf" until there's nothing left but the grave.

I don't think so. Negative means you have less than last time. Saying you went from 10 to 8 but negative number doesn't make sense because if you went 10 to 8 that would assume you GAINED readership, click rates what have you, and should show a positive number. Some way or another the list looked contrived.

Yea, it's ranking based on being the most, hits, looks, visits, blow jobs...etc..

This is a down rank. Worldwide Rank 61,304 up.gif -6,377
The arrows are bullshit. Maybe axle thought no one would care or look. IDK

Only time negative is good is on financials and you may have spent less. Or "hey, I spent -75 cents on my pot roast at the casino".

And the more hits, looks, etc. that a website gets, the lower their number (rank) is going to be. The lower the better. How can you not see this?

Looking at that site is plain weird. They give no explanation what the numbers mean and don't take any responsibility for how they got them.
But it would be interesting ti find out how these ranking websites come up with their numbers.
????. You hit number one because you had 1000 hits, higher than all others. You are number 3 but your numbers were off -6,700 hits for that checking pass. The rank order number is not related itself in math to actual numbers tallied. You either did better or worse than the last check.

I don't know why that site shows like it does. Their rank appears petty meaningless, plus they make no calculations available to how they come to their numbers. It can be interpreted any way you like. That makes information questionable.

qfit is now a contributor to threads on wov. Along with links to a BJ calculator on, well his website, of course. What a sweetheart.

While Norm (Qfit) can add value to a site, make no mistake his participation is all about promoting the brand "Qfit". Nothing he does is by accident. There is a reason Norm chose "Qfit", the name associated with his sites and products, as his handle. A handle that he uses at multiple sites (except here where he wanted to sockpuppet). He probably would have selected Qfit.com if he thought he could have gotten away with it.

A very sad case has developed. A new gamblung forum with a very catchy name. Unfortunately gambling will get very little discussiion on the site. The site is meant for one thing only, bashing GF. Larry almost single-handedly turned this site into a cesspool. Something had to be done to clean it up. New rules instituted. Larry does not like rules. They interfere with his compulsion to trash others. He couldnt follow the rules here and got slowed down. Now he is after revenge.

On the new site, WoV will no longer be his main whipping boy. That distinction now belongs to GF. Make no doubt, he will spew vicious venom at this site for years. Larry is the worst person anyone could ever allow on their site. He has contempt for all rules and will seek revenge in any way he can on anyone who bans or slows him down.

His new agenda is destroying GF. I'm surprised at some of the people who have signed up there which lends him credibility. But then they are WoV'ers who detest Larry but, I think, have skin in the game against GF so are going along with it. A sad sad case.

You are sort of only telling half the truth. He may not live there NOW, but is still associated with that property and address. And I don't think I am outing him by saying so, as it is public record that he registered his businesses to this address.

My guess is he is now renting out this property. Can you imagine having this prick for a landlord? Having him tell you what you can and can't talk about, where to shop, where you can worship? Just as he tells members of WoV what they can and can talk about. Hell, he even punished me for things said on another forum. So why wouldn't he exert that same kind of control (freak) and bullying over his tenants? o_O

He's probably completely different in person, KJ. A lot of people are.
