The sheer gall of manboy's shameless money grab still amazes me. For a site that boasts intelligent members they sure are a gullible bunch. He started grooming them back in May 2014 and didn't stop until the site was sold and his payday was realized. He continued to cry poverty while hiding money in a bank in Cyprus, a place known for money laundering or for hiding it from the IRS or the wife. He begged while traveling the world cavorting with hookers (he didn't do anything, he just paid them as tour guides). While his kids went to the best private schools. While he owned 2 homes. While he continued to bet and lose, by his own admission, on anything and everything.

May 14, 2014: Started a thread whining about losing money in a Cyprus bank.

June 6, 2014: Started the thread begging for money....called it "Donate Option --Save the Wizard Sites".

August 8, 2014. Posted a blog: "Brother, Can You Spare a Dime"? In it he asks for a 10% tithe based on the value that members got from the site. Come to think of it, he does look a little like Benny Hinn.

    Sept 19, 2014: Site sold $2.35 million.

Here are some memorable quotes from manboy himself.

"I don't want to be obnoxious about donations. However, I can see that maybe I should be more forceful about it"

"I am trying not to sound like a charity case".

"For those who have read this appeal and still wont donate, the question for the forum is why not"?

Little Axel said "Please don't stroke the Wizards ego. He already has one the size of Texas". Manboy responds "Make that Alaska".

Here's a very apropos response to the manboy's whining and begging right from the thread. "You are like the guy who sets his house on fire and then complains that it's too expensive to pay for all the water damage after the fire dept leaves". Right on the money. That one got LarryS a 30 day suspension with manboy gleefully telling him "Be careful of the door on the way out". Opinions are always welcomed at WOV....as long as they AGREE with manboy and the mods. Otherwise....look out for the door. The door to Mike's house. The door he uses to sneak into the house after a night of recruiting "models".

Mike's house right? No one's house matters except his. Like when the manager at McDonald's told the nugget fans not to record inside the restaurant. Common sense to anyone else. Manboy said "So, I did it discreetly". Why not? It wasn't HIS house so who cares? Who cares about other people.....other paying customers who should be able to dine in peace?

The guy that ate the nuggets seems like a nice enough guy. I wonder what made him come from Canada to do this?

Yes that quote was after MichaleBLUEJAY stated that there was a 10 year period where the wiz was making large amounts of cash from the site.
So I figured if he needs money desperately now, its because of his own doing. If he needed charity when he begged for it..then he personally mismanaged the site and set it on fire.

As it turns out, I dont think he ever NEEDED money at all.

But that quote was areason for a suspension, and I beleive Mr v..defended it at the time(the quote, not the suspension)

The Wiz is a mathematical genius but he is not a particularly good AP. He once wrote about working a .24% edge. Get out of here. I wouldn't touch a thin edge play like that with your money. And he has no street smarts at all. Publicly analyzing the Revel play was not smart. Publicly analyzing the tax day promotion at the Plaza was just not smart. Lurkers, baby! These gambing forums have lurkers from within the industry. If you want to kill a strong play then post it up in these gambling forums. I've seen it for years. The play gets squashed overnight.

I think the Wizard caused the $5 machines to be removed for the tax day promotion at the Plaza. But I know my boy axelwolf. Not personally but I've read enough of his posts. He doesn't divulge a lot of information but I'm at his level in machine play and know how to read between the lines in his posts. I guarantee you he found things in the Plaza that the Wizard just didn't have the ability to find. I've known about axel since the nineties. He's no joke when it comes to machine play. If anyone made money on the play it was him.,,,even if there weren't any $5 video poker in the joint.

I was stunned to learn about MS selling WoO and WoV shortly after he passed the tin cup, requesting donations.

Surely he knew the deal was pending, so what was the need to ask/beg for money?

It just really rubbed me wrong.

Many regular posters on that site seemed to look up to him at the time, sort of like a Big Brother, and him hitting them up with a "Woe is me" sob-story on the eve of a multi-million dollar payday seems in hindsight like a form of betrayal of trust.

I guess he just saw a +EV opportunity.

he came across as a real scumbag. Perhaps he thought he was going to make a clean break from the site, and he would just grab the money and fade away. It s so petty.
He even asked for people who didnt choose to pay...to give a reason why.
I gave a reason and received 30 days. As usual if you are too good at presenting an unpopular opinion, its grounds for punishment.

I guess I could have answered his challenge by saying......after reading Michaleblujays description of the large amounts of money you made on this site for at least a decade.....if you need money now, it seems to be a self inflicted condition that you put yourself in and for that reason, I would suggest if you need money for your business( and yes it is a business) get a loan, or a second job at night...just like the rest of us would have to do.

Yet my analogy hit a nerve that required a response. You know what he has to do when he has a "bad day".......suspend in order to make things better in his tormented brain.

Of course he knew the deal was pending. These things don't happen overnight. He's begging for tithes on Aug 8th and the sale is announced on Sept 19th. Announced. That means he could have received payment weeks earlier.....much closer to Aug 8th date. And we all know what that means for Mr Integrity. Can't have it both ways. Maybe that's why he suspended Bluejay...to keep him quiet.

That was little Axel's third suspension. Not only does it get reduced to 3 days....another person is allowed to serve some of it for him. The others all got 7 days. No favoritism there. Not like Exoter, 1bb, Cena or kentry.

It's too bad Wizardofnothing got suspended just when he was about to show for the fling. He would have been exposed for the fraud that he is. Let's see what he has to say upon his return......or should I say let's wait for his excuses.

    http://wizardofvegas.com/forum/info/announcements/19582-sale-of-wizard-of-odds-vegas-websites/10/

"My tin cup came out on August 8. That was truly a very low point for me. I ended the exclusive ad deal with Bodog/Bovada on August 1 and the new ads were being virtually ignored."

So 8 days after he lost a sponsor he waves the tin cup. What business does that? So you have a bad week, and you can wait it out. Hell Bluejay said at one point they were both "living large" from the site. So how does it work?.....when his business was raking in money he is not looking to share his wealth, yet 8 days after things start looking bad, we need to share his loss?

All the while negotiations for sale in the background.

i was wondering, has the original thread where he asks for money been deleted? the one from the beginning of august. 2014

And the obvious question....why didnt the tin cup ever get pulled back during the negotiations. Never once did the manboy temporarily suspend the collection. The tin cup waiving thread stayed up all along.

Usually its bad business to ask for charity to show how poor you are during negotiations to sell. However I think the manboy had delusions that if tens of thousands of people donated...he could prove to the buyers that he was in no hurry to sell..and ask for max price.

why else would someone have an open call for charity active amid negotiations to sell

It's all so very simple. He's the typical AP--he loses. When you lose and you have a family, begging for cash is probably not that far out. I have no doubt he couldn't win gambling. If he did then there would have been no humiliation.

From what I've read on AXEL, he's just another loser with a life fed by the Obama dole. He claims to be some sort of team vp leader or something, but that's just another cover for being a gambling loser. He also has no class, and has brown lips and a brown nose for kissing Wizard's butt so often.

I had been told stories about Axel and his crew. They started out pushing change carts when they were barely old enough to be in the casinos. But they quickly developed into AP's. The first time I seen them was at the Riverside/Laughlin. The high roller room had two $1 8/5 Jacks progressive machines linked together. The meter ran at 2%. I was told that every time the meter hit $42,000 Axel and his crew would come in and lock up both machines until they snapped off the royal.

So one day the meter hit $42,000 and there they were. I would stop by and check them out whenever I had time. They were gone in less than 24 hours and the meter was back at reset.

Big brouhaha on WoV over darkoz so called ratting out the tax day play at the Plaza. It was already all over the internet so darkoz was just repeating information. But Shack just ain't got no street smarts. He put up the math on the $5 video pokers....which the Plaza execs promptly read. Lol! How stupid is that?

But he didn't do that much damage. I can easily guess that Axel and that bunch had some better things going. Take a 3-coin $5 slot machine for example. One with a big chunk of payback in the mid-range line pays. Hits that pay 80, 90, 100 for 1. On a 3-coin $5 machine 80 for 1 pays $1200 and gets the extra 28% in freeplay. The same machine can have 80, 90, 100 for 1 line pays.

The extra 28% on these hits can turn a machine in the mid-nineties payback into one that is 104% or so, and you are free rolling at the higher line pays.

Beached whale is at it again. More evidence that Zuga and the other owners don't care about WOV and are willing to let it continue it's slow death. She just issued a suspension for absolutely no reason.....nothing unusual there. Only this time she abused her authority by issuing the suspension after Face already handled the matter. A big middle finger to Face and the entire forum from this conceited, smug, self important waste of air. Anyone else would have moved on...not this pompous, poor excuse of a human being.

A couple of butt kissers....the usual ones....applauded the whale but more and more of the rank and file are starting to speak up...to stand up for their fellow members. RonC is up in arms. RONC! This is not a misprint....RonC has had enough! He's sick of people leaving the board because of unfair moderation.

Look what's left. Little Axel, the "slot pro" who grabs grandma's leftover ticket from the penny machine, RX Whiner, RS WIzard of nothing.

Too little too late Ron. Where were you when the others got banned? Cena, Kentry, bb, Exoter and the others. She'll becoming for you next. Kiss her butt or forever hold your peace.

I have to agree with you, Freddy. Darkoz' suspension is the most abusive I've ever seen on WoV. He was just making a joke. While he is serving his suspension they are joking in the thread about Axel's drinking, Romes' propensity for dating jail bait? Aren't those insults?

Darkoz got jumped by the more advanced AP's for simply posting that there was a tax day promotion at the Plaza. I detest advanced AP's that think they are the only ones entitled to information.

To many of these advanced AP's cop the attitude that "now that I know about it everybody shut up about it. Don't teach the idiots anything). At one time in his life that same AP was as ignorant about gambling as the year is long. That is, until someone gave him a clue. He starts making money, gets to thinking his sh-- don't stink. Gets more important than everyone else. He doesn't BECOME selfish and greedy. He was born selfish and greedy.

I've taken heat from them too. They can kiss off. I'm actually starting to feel embarrassed that I ever joined WoV. When I get off this road trip in a few weeks I'm going to enjoy a couple of months of R & R. There are other sections in this forum, slots, video poker, keno. I'm going to put up some righteous plays. Stuff that all those advanced AP's don't want you to see.

I can't believe they dissed darkoz like that.
