Misc WizardOfVegas Forum is Dying

Ive learned that in my surroundings there are primarily two type of people. Targets and those searching for a target. Harder to hit a moving target so dont remain stationery.

ReDietz has a decision to make. Stand up for what's right against wrong or look the other way. The former, in a good [removed, pay to advertise] boys network, will likely get him tossed faster than Ron White in a NYC bar.

 

Who are you even talking to? It mostly appears you are just talking to yourself (or maybe your alternative personalities).

I don't want to speak for redietz, but like I have come to, he doesn't care all that much about getting suspended. Redietz and myself would much rather say what we feel we need to say and get suspended than be told what we can and can't say.

 

I was responding to Freddy's post on the prevoius page. It would've went below his post. But Freddy made another short post before I hit green.

If you thinking I have two personalities to justify your fears then be my guest. But we both when you look in the mirror you see a coward. A demon inside you cant seem to face.

Maybe Redeitz. But you cried endlessly on at least 3 different forums for years after Norm suspended you.

 

Gordonm888 tries to explain the sex with an amputee comment he made on WoV. "I repeated a joke I heard a comedian make." That's all he could come up with? With all the Mensa brainstorming? Nice try, gordy. The thread was "What Would You Do With $5M?" It wasn't about comedians. It wasn't about jokes. Not even close. He never alluded to it being a joke in any way. But it was a few years ago they whine. What.. was gordy a child 6 years ago? More like an adult in his 50s or 60s maybe. How about a link to the joke and the comedian? We could all use a good laugh.

Gordy has a pattern and it's an ugly one for sure. This was not a one time thing.

Tks I try my best to analyze the playing field and it's characters as accurate as I can, good, bad or ugly.

 

I have to admit, with the 2 new mods over there and Flash Gordon Lightfoot 888, seemingly making a total jackass of himself, I'm very tempted to throw the towel in and take a peek after a little over 3 months. I'm really testing my discipline here

Don't be bashful, gordon. Do tell us about the advantage players from all over the world that seek you out. What's your secret to count the cards? Does it have anything to do with playing at a handicapped table?

Gordon IS NOT the poster we knew as Flash, Moses. That is an interesting theory because wasn't there some comic figure or something named Flash Gordon?

The guy we knew as Flash was old, like 80 and last I heard in very bad health. I suspect he may no longer even be with us.

But I would like to hear more about Gordon the Mod as a card counter in the 80's. I hadn't heard that. Does he claim to have played professionally or recreationally? Where can I read more about that. Do I have to go through all his posts?

I am also a little concerned with someone that is an advanced Math guy tries to help players with the math, because they usually end up working for, working with, consulting for the other side at some point. That tends to be where they can make a little money sharing their math wisdom.

They should have made the even-bob-spike the mod on the wizard forum, hey hey.

 

Does it really matter who they make a moderator? Shackleford sets the tone, and the other mods follow that. And you can see most change TO follow that lead. There was a very difinite change in BBB and the way she moderated. I see the same change occuring with oncedear and you already see a change in Gordon in these early days. I didn't notice much of a change from Mission or Face. But all these mods have to know if they try to do things differently, Shackleford is likely to overrule them.

IMO, WoV, is over-moderated, and the tone has been set to celebrate, and encourage suspensions and trolling right up to the suspension line, like it is a big game. That isn't going to change as long as Shackleford is in charge.

A perfect exaample of what I am talking about is Wizard recently said something to the effect that how he moderates is based on if a complaint is filed. This means somebody says something, he reads it, recognises it as an insult, but does nothing unless someone complains they were insulted. He is esentially, encouraging this atmosphere of everyone "telling" on one another. That is what he enjoys. And THAT is a serious gambling forum?

 

Hmmm. Who is Sabre?

 

What I recall the most about Sabre is he's one of the first guys on that forum to call out horseshit. He had Dogs number

 

What I know about sabre is that he is a moribund dour type who probably never had much to talk about in the locker room, even when he was younger.

 

Members at WOV are perking up and inquiring into why The Adventures of MDawg thread was needlessly hidden.

 

You probably got Flashed MDawg. He once told me many of his names.

The greatest braggart of all time is at it again on WoV. Raise your hand if you guessed SOOPOOP. This time he matter of factly tells the board that he’s at a luxury hotel/spa in NY. He’s paying $700 a night for the room and just casually mentions that his wife will drop at least $300 at the spa. He posted this in the guise of ranting about “the service industry” but everyone knows what he’s really doing. Another post that makes you want to stick your finger down your throat.

Oh, I almost forgot. He’s renting a place at The Villages in Florida this winter. SOOPOOP better keep an eye on “wifey.” Those horny old studs that live there spend their days popping Viagra and looking for “fresh meat.”

One of the great WoV writers should do an article on the psychology of a braggart. It would be very revealing. No more than 5000 words though.
