Freddy, for a guy so obsessed with WoV, you don't seem to know how things work. When a member voluntarily resigns, he is able to decide he wants to return, tell Mike and wait 30 days. I don't know what the 30 days is about. Seems like one of Mike's goofy things where he believes a "punishment" should be in order. A punishment for what? Deciding you no longer wanted to participate? Strange. If you weren't suspended and left voluntarily, you should be able to return any time you wish. But whatever.

So Mike's 30 days starts running when you inform him you want to return. I have not done that, so my 30 days has not started running. And I have no interest in returning the way things currently are, with Mike "protecting" and allowing Mdawg to make claims that Mike knows are not true, about both, 1) all the winning and 2) how Las Vegas works. Mike KNOWS how Vegas works. They are not allowing a player to spread $200 -$20,000 at blackjack and Mdawg saying they don't care about players that win constantly is nuts. THAT is not the way Vegas works.

Actually everything about Mdawgs stories would make sense if you insert one thing. LOSING. I believe that is what is going on....he just is leaving out ALL the losing he does, at baccarat, at blackjack. Once you accept that, then all the comps, all the VIP treatment, comped suits for 6 months now, flying on a private jet to a football game in Los Angeles this past weekend, that all makes sense. THAT is exactly how Vegas casinos treat LOSING high limit players.....whales. And THAT is what Mdawg is. And that is a good and interesting story, if he had been honest.

But anyway, my 30 day clock has not started and I have no interest in returning, unless I as a professional player, who knows Las Vegas and how Las vegas works, am allowed to challenge Mdawgs claims. Otherwise let the fantasy/fiction forum that WoV has become continue.

I know of at least 3 people who resigned from WoV and were reinstated just for the asking 30 days after the original resignation. I could easily demonstrate that if I had the desire. I don't. You may be right though. Things change there all the time. You could always find out by asking to be reinstated. Be sure to report back if you do. That doesn't mean you have to participate there...just that you would no longer be in red. Either way thanks for the info.

Is one of them Alan? Alan "tricked" his way back avoiding the 30 day wait. I forget exactly how it went but it was something like this: Alan had resigned (same as I have). Someone said something about Alan or brought Alan up in a way that Alan felt he needed to respond, so he asked Wizard for an exemption to the 30 day "wait rule" to respond to this one specific item. He responded, and next thing you knew Alan was back posting as normal, having avoided that 30 day wait rule. o_O Kind of funny, but that is ok. Alan is a good guy. If he wants to participate there is no reason he shouldn't be allowed. He is a "gambler" who has shared experiences both involving gambling (and one incident that he is likely remembering wrong.....selective memory, for which he takes a lot of crap) and his personal life (related to his gambling). That is what the forum is supposed to be about.

Daddy Wizard is 8th place in your Fan Club. He doesn't hate you nearly as much as your #1 " Superfan" that you refuse to "cussout" for unknown reasons. Stand up for yourself to that unfunny trolling numpty !

What kind of loser needs to “resign” from the forum? Who needs to be suspended in order to stop themselves posting? Just log out and never return, it’s that simple. Announcing it by way of a resignation is just attention seeking bullshit.

I can only speak to why I did so. I wanted Mike to know how strongly I object to him allowing MDawg use him and the forum in his agenda to mislead people.

I hoped and still hope at some point Wizard will wake up and realize he is being used.

As if Mike or anyone gives two shits. You act as though you were once buddies, then betrayed. It's a gambling forum. Not a soap opera.

Good job Tasha finally sticking up for yourself for the first time against "Superfan" #1 keep your head up. Guys like Boz might be mean to you, but at least he's creative and comical. Kew is not funny, but doesn't despise you or mean any harm. Enemy #1 to you is not funny, not creative, a bozo and literally hates you, FIGHT BACK !

I did some looking in to 1BB who, by the way, I've been accused of being. I know you knew this, Karen Nathan so don't be coy. Here's what I found:

    1BB: Wov join date - Oct 10, 2011. Posts made - 5,339.

First offense 5 years later on Nov15,2015. It was a veiled reference to EvenBob/Spike living in his basement. For that Weak Wizard gave him 7 days.

Second offense Nov 22, 2015...the day he finished his first suspension. He suggested that Weak Wizard step down from being a mod. For that nothing statement he was nuked. Here's the thing. I always assumed it was Weak Wizard that banned him . It wasn't. It was Mission...most likely doing Weak Wizards bidding. Those were the offenses, Karen Nathan. Nowhere could I find the 'cuss' that you referred to. No matter...it looks like they were out to get him anyway.

1BB claimed to be a blackjack counter from the NY/New England area. His main focus, for whatever reason, seemed to be complaining about WoV and the way it was run. That upset Weak Wizard and his merry band of misfits. To the casual observer his banning sure looks like overkill. What's that favorite saying over there? Don't let the door hit you.... Or is it "Mike's House...Mike's rules?

Well see that is why I recently said I thought you were an AP. I had read several times that you were 1BB.

Ok, so if you are not 1BB, do you care to share exactly what your beef is with Wizard and/or WoV. I mean you have been going at this for how many years? This is your only posting...following that forum and posting word for word and often things said and that occurred like a decade ago.

So just out of curiosity, what the hell is your issue? :D

I think that's pretty obvious. He hates the place.

Not hard to understand why. When somebody enforces arbitrary rules arbitrarily, and pretends it's some structured, rational system, and sycophants go along with it like some chess club cult, then one could get real riled up.

Kind of like that kewlJ dude got real riled up.

Why freddy hates the place is no mystery. The mystery to me is why somebody like Mission, who seems eminently reasonable and consistent, thinks that the rules and regs at WoV are anything but subjective whims with make believe definitions of words (like "trolling"), subjective interpretations of what's written, and then scattershot application of the subjective interpretations of the ill defined rules.

Note: KewlJ, on your first post back at WoV if that occurs, feel free to lift this post and copy it there. I know that breaks some rule, but tell them I put a gun to your head and said I'd dox you if you didn't, because they are sensitive to doxing over there.

Then see how they wriggle off the hook.

Yes Redietz. I get that Freddy hates the forum. I am not stupid. Lol. I assumed he was a former member that feels he got a bad deal. That he was wronged. I have been there. Eventually you move on...especially if you have no desire to return which seems to be Freddy. That he hasn't gotten over it just makes me curious to what his beef is now that he claims not to be 1bb.

And Redietz, the only way I would go back is with assurances that I could fairly challenge Mdawgs or any claims that defy math and the way I know Las Vegas works.

And that is not going to happen because even if Wizard realized MDawg is playing and using him and the forum (which he probably knows), Mike is too afraid of MDawg and whatever he threatens Mike with to allow members to legitimately challenge the fantasy. So don't hold your breath.

Okay...a little background which I'll try to keep short. I'm not one to go on about myself.

    >>>I am and always have been a member in good standing on WoV.

    >>>I have and always have had only one handle there.

    >>>I have never been banned or even suspended from WoV.

I joined there in good faith, read and followed all the rules and made what I think were some good contributions. I've always enjoyed roulette and looked forward to discussing it with like minded people. Baccarat to a lesser extent as well. I'm not too keen on the card games though.

That's when it started. The so called APs, math geeks and hangers-on insulted, harassed and berated me and others for being so stupid as to play negative games. I politely explained that a) I was fully aware of the house edge, b) I have no system and make no claims of beating the game and that I play strictly for enjoyment...not because I'm clueless or stupid.

After I asked the little pissants to stop the abuse now that they knew my position...you guessed it. They ramped it up under the watchful eye of Weak Wizard and his incompetent mods. When my friends (forum friends) started getting banned and others ceased to post...it was time for me to leave that toxic place. No announcement, no whining, no poor me...I just stopped posting.

Who are they to judge how I spend my recreational money? Look...if someone posted that they had a $500 steak dinner would I berate them and call them stupid? Would I say they could have purchased a steak at the market and cooked it at home? Of course not. Same with overpriced sports or concert tickets. I certainly wouldn't call anyone stupid because they could have watched the game on TV. Some of these so called APs seem to be preoccupied with money in an unhealthy way...maybe because they aren't making as much as they would like. Not the way I would want to go through life.

Weak Wizard is ultimately in charge and he, as usual, stood by and did nothing. When his personality disorders worsen...ownership will drop him just like Angela did.

Thanks for sharing that Freddie. I guess my follow up question would be if that is the way you feel and you have no interest in ever returning and your goal isn't to voice constructive criticism in the hopes of change, then why all the nasty personal stuff towards Wizard? And for so many years. That doesn't really make sense to me.

Although I hope and don't think I was one of the AP's giving you shit for -EV play, I apologize that you went through that. I know I and I am sure other AP's have a hard time relating to someone that is just willing to lose. I often think they might as well mail their check to the casino. I try to think about it as "it's their hobby.....their entertainment" no different than any other and tell myself "thank god for them, it helps me", but ultimately I sometimes find myself wanting to "help" them, maybe learn a little AP while they play thinking wouldn't it be better if their fun and entertainment made them a little money or broke even rather than costing money?

I have done this several times with Alan. I guess because I like him and would like to help him. I suspect that is what other AP's were doing in their own harsh way with you. What we sometimes fail to realize is that -EV players enjoy what they are doing. Again, I am going to go back to we just have a hard time relating to players willing or 'trying' to lose. There should definitely be a place for you and other non-AP's -EV players on WoV.

Spend more time working on your game? MDawg, newbie's, and other TP's wont matter much.

Increase your playing stakes and forum anxiety will not occur.

There are Threshold Players and Advantage Players.

A long time ago, in a universe far, far away, I wrote an academic paper that touched on this, and my point was that when you label something "negative expectation gambling," that's strictly a capitalist-oriented, monetary term that focuses exclusively on coinage lost to the house. My argument has always been that when people donate money to the house, you have to bear in mind that they may be getting NON-material resources in return. To put it simply, they may be perceived by friends or co-workers as suave via their familiarity with gambling environs. Or they may be resting the parts of their brains needed for what they actually do to earn their coinage in day-to-day life. Or it's a good place to get laid, a core element of life in general. So losing material resources can lead to NON-material gains, like cohort status. Frankly, it probably helped Alan get married a few times -- and I'm not kidding.

Other past cultures did not put the (in my mind, somewhat sick) emphasis on material resources that's the hallmark of present American culture.

Having said that, I'm all for gambling as efficiently as possible and not wasting money. So Alan's insistence that how he gambled was logical and sound drove me nuts.

I get bitchy when people purport to be gambling experts at all things via simple application of math, which (when you think about it) is insulting to people who are actually expert at one thing. And it annoys the living hell out of me when naive math guys are dead wrong about particular things, like parlays, and are so self-absorbed in their math reliance that they miss the obvious. And they are giving advice.

In short, I don't care who recreationally gambles for what stakes, and I will back them, but when they start making logical errors in support of their recreational gambling, then I give them grief. And it really bothers me when guys with math degrees think they have all problems surrounded by the math. Like Sheldon on Big Bang.

Quick story: I played for a couple of years on the math department grad basketball team at Penn State. We actually set a record for fewest points allowed per game my second year. They thought the way I was doing something (drawing two-shot fouls) was detrimental. For all of their math expertise (we had guys from China, and Taiwan, and Romania), I sat down and did the math for them of points per possession and percentages and such, to prove that drawing two-shot fouls was more efficient that just getting a standard shot. It amazed me what they had not considered. The WoV, when it comes to sports betting, is the same way.

Interesting theory. My soph year, we averaged 80 points a game. Had some great players. Finished 10-10. But beat the #1 team in State in their building.
Was forced to move to a country school junior, senior year. We averaged less than 50 points a game. Went 20-2 my Senior year and was the first team in school history to make it to State. Two HoF coaches with highest win percentage and many wins and State appearances and champs during their tenure.

Coach would say "you get me a 1 point lead through 3 quarters, I will get us home. Free throws.
