I'm afraid I don't know how to post for every person on this forum or any forum. So I post for my own edification not everybody else's. Here's the thing that kind of escaped you, it seems to escape a lot of people. If you don't want to read my posts, hit the ignore button. On other forums they have a block feature. That way you won't have to go through the obvious angst pain and physical anxiety that my posts obviously put you through. But you won't do that, you'd rather piss and moan and whine like a 9 year old little girl and stamp your feet and cry and cry. I've seen it a hundred times. Boo hoo for you. I post what I post, live with it or don't. Matters not to me.

I took a closer look at Spike's roulette posts and it looks like it is him. He checks off a lot of the boxes. He even responded to me with the style he became famous for...using only the left half of the page. I really don't care who anyone is. If they post anything worthwhile I'll read it. Roulette yes. There's one person on WoV that doesn't want to hear it and he just happens to be a mod there. Gordonm888 to kewlj: "If you have evidence then, please state it. Otherwise roll your eyes back into your head and go about your business and stop disparaging people by artful insinuation." Oops. But gordy...the math, the math.

Now...how to get back in gordy's good graces. Let me think. I know. Find him a female double amputee that he can pay to have sex with. That's right...pay. The thread that he posted that in was called " What Would You Do With $5M?" So yes...pay.

 

Freddy stop hating just based on what someone does with WoV. Circumstances change and people re-evaluate based on that. In this case the concerns I had back in August of Mdawg misleading people are nearly gone, as I mentioned to Wizard. Since August Mdawg has basically exposed himself when he went from posting 7 months of daily winning reports (or claims) to where he came clean and in one line at the end of a long post said "wizard and I went over my records and I am about even for this trip". Over half million dollars of phony winning claims disappeared over night. I think we all know WHY that occurred, but it doesn't even matter. From that point on, no one believed him and almost no one responded anymore to his daily claims until this little flurry of activities in the past few days. So I have no concerns at this point. I wish Wizard had played a bigger role, but He doesn't seem to want to do that.

As for Gordon, he is just flat out wrong. Freddy YOU are not objective. You have become an MDawg fan simply because he is making a mockery of WoV, which you despise. YOU know the Mdawg story is BS and that Marcus Clark is a sock to agree with him and give him credibility when no other member will.

Dan Druff is an expert at figuring socks, VPN or no VPN. He knows how to see through or past a VPN and in the event that he can't, he will make the member "unmask" so he can see. I asked Dan Druff to Visit WoV 3 or 4 months ago to discuss the matter with the mods and it became obvious the WoV mods either were not understanding what he was saying or just were not interested in doing so. Marcus Clark is a sock. Everyone knows it, including you freddy.

I don't care, with Marcus Clark or not, there is no real members of WoV that believes Mdawgs claims of winning....so no one is being harmed. There are plenty that believe he is a rich guy who gambles, sometime wins, more often than not loses and is comped according, high end suits and gifts. Boy that would have made a great "adventure" one that everyone, gamblers and AP's a like would have been interested in. If only the guy could have stuck to the truth.

 

KewlJ, you can have an opinion on whether MDawg's doing any damage to anyone at WoV, but it's just an opinion. Frankly, and to put it bluntly, I think I outrank you (if there is such a thing) regarding having an opinion on that. I've been dealing with the general public's savvy or lack thereof for decades, and going back to the 80's up until today, I've written letters and had calls with media that promote or allow MDawg type fantasy claims. I think you're ignoring the non-posters at WoV who just scan the site. Without direct pushback on fantasy narratives, the public assumes the media source, in this case Shackleford, would rein in garbage. Without the reining in, the default assumption is that the fairy tales have some credence.

I'm kind of agreeing with freddy on this. MDawg as the flagship poster at WoV derails the site and exposes it for what it is. There's no reason, if the site is not reining in MDawg, for the general public to believe what you post at WoV, either.

 

Redietz, don't get me wrong, I am not happy with how things currently are. But my hands are tied. I think Shackleford should have done and still should be doing much, much more. And I have told him so privately and publicly. I can't force the guy. I would think he would be concerned that a forum that he started and still carried his name (Wizard) and likeness would be perceived in a negative way as to not necessarily involved but enabling such nonsense. I guess you and I and a few others are more concerned with how he looks and more importantly the integrity of the forum than he is.

And you know, I went through this exact situation with Norm back on his blackjack site. And this isn't to open or rehash anything with Norm, but my argument was that when someone repeatedly and I mean repeatedly, as in hundreds (plural) of times claims something that defies math or logic and reality, people, including the respected math-based forum owner have got to denounce each and every time. Norm like Shackleford thinks they have denounced it sufficiently, but if they say something once in a while, while they guy repeats the claim hundreds of times, that just doesn't suffice. The playbook of these guys is now just keep repeating. If you repeat a lie or non-truth often enough, it becomes accepted as truth. So you have to dispute them each and every time.

Mdawg tried to use this repeat, repeat, repeat tactic with me, when he has posted 100 times that "I ended last year in the red and quit blackjack". Each and every time I have corrected the record. I had a bad year last year....a very bad year, ended far below expectation but in the black and obviously have not quit playing blackjack as I had a very good year this year. It was a lot of work, but this lie really didn't gain traction. You have to fight back. Or if the forum owner like Norm and Shackleford don't have the stomach for that, you at least have to allow other AP's, real players and math experts to fight back and correct these false claims each and every time. THAT is how you stop these trolls from taking over. And stop the next one from coming along.

Part of the problem is that forum owners have a different agenda. A little controversy that generates emotions and traffic is good for them. But I just don't expect real gambling math guys and advantage players, like Shackleford and Norm to abandon the math for which they are known for and let some nut job run rough shod with claims that defy math. And lets be clear what I am saying with "defying math". Don't give me crap about one in a million chance, like 'dumb and dumber' movie where the girl gave odds of being together at 1 in a million and the dude said "so your telling me I have a chance". Everyone on these forums gambles, some are AP's, all understand the math. If you claim something 1 in a million or even 1 in a hundred thousand, you are defying the math!
