What is with this customer service stuff? I keep seeing that over and over. It's a forum.. that you don't pay to be on. There is no customer service, it's a privilege to be there and you abide by their rules or you don't visit said forum. You're in their house!!!!

Everyone took a beaten during those rough times. Many lost more than you assume he lost just on their own personal assets. With what was going on in Greece for several years already with the banks, who in their right mind would have 80K tied up there at that time? Are you guys really this gullible? Regardless, for an AP it should be nothing more than a temporary bump in the road. For the amount of time he’s been AP’ing it’s disappointing to find out he didn’t have any mattresses stuffed with all that AP cash for an emergency like what took place.

Then you claim he was saved by the Serbians. Please present the actual confirmed facts of that deal before you claim how lucky he actually is (or isn’t.) It’s obvious something did happen, he no longer owns the sites and he’s gambling again. Yet, hearing about million dollar deals that allegedly took place on a gambling forum over a gambling forum has about as much merit as me claiming I have more money than Bill Gates.

But the reality is, successful businesses have the mindset that its a "privilege" to service customers. And that leads to customer retention. As you can see based on the mindset that its a privilege to enter that domain .....you have a 25 percent loss of member visits. Nice going.

People go to that site, and devote time , effort and expertise for free. In exchange they get a forum to post on. Its a symbiotic relationship. Either party cannot exist without the other. With no posters, the message board would close down. And without a board there can be no posters. Its a yes/yes deal for both parties.

Wov is a "for profit" business. It uses the visit numbers of members and non members as a means to attain advertisers. By just entering the site you are helping the "for profit" business to maximize their advertising dollars. By devoting your time effort and expertise you are helping to attract people to visit the site, and also help the advertising process. I stress "helping"....its not the entire draw.but it is a draw.

And in exchange you get the joy of the exchange of ideas.

Walk into a Walmart......complain to the manager......and then be told that you are banned from the store for 3 days. And then call the manager sarcastically "a real genius".....and see if you get banned for 7 days from the store. And then ask where is sally the cashier (who was fired)...and be labeled a troublemaker and banned from the store again. And then when online call a customer "an idiot" for doing something stupid....and see if you are banned 14 days from the store.

Successful businesses are not into continual punishment of its customers. Successful businesses do not have a manboy in charge who proclaims that when he is in a bad mood he punishes customers. This is abnormal. This is sick. No business should treat valued customers like that.

The manboy did proclaim that he was in a bad mood and was looking to suspend in one post. That says alot. That shows the contempt he has for customers. It shows his disrespect for them. Customers can be used as salve for his psychological wounds when they are punished.

So yes, wov is a business. Is not "mikes house" "mikes living room" "mikes place"......its a profit making business owned by a corporation.

Its as much as a privilege to enter and it should be for them to serve customers.

However you are one of many who have no value to their self worth...do not think you add value to the site...your time , effort is worthless...and its all about being grateful to the corporation. Well look at how KJ was treated....Look at the loss of member visits....you get what you accept.

There are some points brought up on this thread that can be debated, and some things that are real straightforward. Boz had the opportunity to select any of them and make his case. Instead he came here and talks about bank accounts, and flying to meet just a bunch of pissing contest material. He is obviously a guy that cant string a few cogent thoughts together to make his point,......so why would I meet with him face to face. Will his communication skills become better in person? As to Larry and his constant rants on Customer service, I wish I could understand the fascination. WOV is like every other business out there. As long as an owner does not break any discrimination laws, they are free to do what they want. Of course successful ones find the balance between customer service and profits. Those that don't do things the right way go out of business. And the customer moves on, and someone else fills the void, if one was left. Happens every day out there.

Not happy with how your treated at a business, write a review and warn others. If enough feel the same way the business will fail. And the owner loses. That's it, the owner loses money, not you. I just don't get why you have made it so personal with Mike. It tells me you are hurt that his business told you to get lost. Whether or not the business fails, he did what any owner has the right to do, simple as that. You don't like him, I get it, I'm sure he doesn't like you.

As for the sale part of it, he made money. Most people respect that and it's obvious the new owners don't care about WOV. I personally don't like online casinos and those who run them. I also don't trust where the money goes in these 3rd world countries. But I'm not their target customer and I'm sure they don't care what I think.

If they are making money, that all that matters to them. And if they don't, their loss. What you and I think about their customer service doesn't matter to them. Simple as that.

Your right to tell them how they should run their business, but you don't help your cause giving them names you think are cute to insult them. You come off as having an agenda as a bitter person. I get it, I call people I don't like names and really dislike people I have never met like Mike BJ. This is based on his postings, nothing more. He may be a nice guy but comes off as a pompous ass who knows more than everyone else. As I said over there, it may be a money making act, who knows.

Fighting with people you never met in person on the internet is reality, and maybe even fun but we all end up looking like assholes to someone. Nobody wins, unless someone finds a way to make money off it. Which is always the goal in the business world. If you have helped this site make money, someone appreciates it. As far as the above comment. You will never see anyone here tell wov that they are breaking laws. Heck in any business, I can throw someone out of my store if I dont like the color of their tie. Tie color is NOT govt protected. No one ever said that WOV was breaking discrimination laws. Usually people start their response with their strongest point. If this is a "strong point".....it doesnt say alot.

As far as the other points.....its just the nature of the beast. If I go to walmart and dont like how they treat my neighbors, ..well I am standing right there. I dont go home and hit the computer. But internet businesses are on the computer, and mistreated customers are right there on the computer...so by nature its so easy to see a neighbor mistreated and take 3 minutes to respond. Its simple, and convenient. But it happens in the brick and morter stores as well. Mistreated customers tell hundreds of people sometimes.

If you go to Epcot center....its not "disneys place" where you are privileged to enter. They consider you a guest and they treat you like its a privilege to serve you. THAT is what businesses do. And businesses that dont.... get called out for it.

If I was punished and I had my say and nothing else occured on that site. Then you have a point. How long can my personal treatment go on and on in my mind as far as complaints. However the treatment of neighbors have continued. And I like to point that out...and also support/defend my neighbors. You cant defend or support your neighbors on that site. The length of this thread has to do with constantly new mistreatments that occur almost every week....THATS what keeps it going.

And as far as pet names.Well People do based on what they are. Peoples actions can be explained by what they are. Their names explain why they behave in a socially backward way, why they are socially retarded, why they NEED to behave in such a manner, why they do behave in such a manner. Not just names pulled out of the air. But names that help explain why they do what they do.

Its observational,. its opinion, and your opinion may differ. However what may make you dislike the names is that there is a ring of truth to them, ..they are based on reality, Its not calling someone "fucking asshole" or "piece of shit". Although vulgar, those names are just general insults with no real meaning. The names that you find objectionable do have real meaning...and thats the rub.
