Misc WizardOfVegas Forum is Dying

I'm sure this will taken the wrong way by some of you, but putting the personal picture of Babs up is Out of Bounds in my opinion. I get some of you hit her hard for her decisions, which should be fair ground, but the picture is not right. If I remember correctly she did not want this or any picture of her posted publicly and complained to the point of a suspension about it. Privacy should be an issue if someone wants it. Maybe she does, maybe she doesn't, but its obvious the intent behind this picture.

Freddy sure likes his privacy, unwilling to even say who he is at WoV, a forum he uses for the PM function. How about you Junket, who are you over there? Larry, KJ, Axel, Mission, Face, V and others are willing to post under the same name.
What's the downside? Being banned from a place you have nothing good to say about? Seems like some enjoy the benefits of membership of WoV.

 

2F as usual gives an opinion, and then steps back as if to say..well thats my opinion but I could change it if you want.

The response by beached whale was that it gets quiet for the summer. WTF.....its been getting more and more "quiet" over the last 2 years

I will second that as well for one reason.
I continue to think that KJ was set up and think he was mis-trreated.

So what happens... he comes here and unfolds the story, and I got sucked in as he tells us all the details...Including direct quotes from the wizard and himself on PMS.

Except for a couple weeks he leaves one PM quote out......the one where he threatens the manboy...the one where he essentially says "fuck you" on the way out the door.

THATS where he lost me. I felt manipulated. I felt I could have had that piece of info at the start.

I didnt mind that all the posts were about ME ME ME, with little knowledge of history of others that were mis-treated. Thats fine.
Meanwhile the manboy took the hi road and kept quiet....he could have released that "fuck you" parting quote....but HE didnt.

So I am sympathetic when KJ proclaims that he was banned for no good reason.
But when he bemoans that he should be back there to post with all of his friends....thats where he losses me. After the "fuck you" exit......he aint goin back.Now the manboy would be an idiot to take him back AFTER BEING THREATENED, and he)KJ) WOULD BE AN IDIOT FOR GOING BACK AND PUTTING HIMSELF IN THAT POSITION AGAIN

A word about the lovely photo on the previous page. As you may have figured out, no one here takes orders from you or any WOV representative. You guys must have this site confused with the DICKtatorship that you so love. Maybe if Mission hadn't tried to throw his weight around, ordering Junket around, the photo wouldn't have been posted. So blame him for that.

LarryS, I released some quotes that I though were most important. Even with all that I released, it is still only a fraction of what was said, back and forth. I wasn't trying to hide something negative that I said. I am no angel. I get frustrated and say some shit from time to time. I've done that here on the site. The fact is that I don't think that...what you are calling a 'threat' was that important. But later when someone asked what it was that I said, I released that too.

I wasn't trying to hide anything as I am being accused of. I tried to be open and transparent and when someone asked for something additional I released that too. Compare that to the other party who is secretive and anything but transparent at every turn. He too could have released anything he felt relevant.

Now this quote that is being referred to as a "threat"? Where is the threat? Did I threaten Mike with physical harm as some others have done late at night when they gat a little extra 'energy' in them? (sorry for bringing it up, Mickey). Did I threaten to go to his house? (which I can walk to). Stop with the 'threat' nonsense....there was no threat. Since Mike had referenced "consequences" from Norm (whatever that meant), I wanted him to know there were going to be consequences from me as well.....meaning I would not let this go and would continue to bring it up. And guess what....I have and will continue to. That is not a threat....if anything it was a heads up.

RS, everything I said to Axel (a few posts back) applies to you as well. I thought you more than Axel were my friend. We communicate privately by email or at least did fairly regularly. You couldn't drop me a message and say hey hang in there. Some of us are talking to Mike behind the scenes. Be patient. ???

You guys refuse to accept the fact that while some of my reaction was not great, it was a reaction to the initial wrong action that led to this whole situation. And it wasn't a knee jerk type bad reaction. It was 3 months after the fact. 3 months of frustration building that nothing was happening. AND almost a full month after this dinner that you guy went to bat for me that I didn't know about. We are talking 4 weeks after that and STILL nothing was happening. So yes, I was and continue to be frustrated. And you can hold that against me and I guess you will. That's your right.

it was already in the public domain like it or otherwise. I copied it and it explains her bitterness IMO, unfortunate as it may be, but it is what it is. She could have a heart of gold, but that is blatantly not the case, I did omit the full picture BTW.

IMO 'again' goes a long way to explaining the demise of the WoV, if she had any conscience she would resign for the sake of the board due the obvious level of discontent, rather enjoys the 'control aspect' far to much. Some people are oblivious!!!

Freddy, sorry your not brave enough to come out and say who you are/ were on WoV. Your call, not mine. But your credibility is shot. With Larry it's easy to research and see his history over there. Some agree and others disagree with him being banned but it's right there. You are different, you say you are still a member who enjoys the features there and doesnt want to lose them. So you just come out of nowhere to defend those you feel need like a Superhero in the night. Or maybe, just maybe you are as most suspect, 1BB who came off as a pompous jackass and who's banning most would agree with and celebrated.

 

1BB, the guy who was buying WoV to right all the wrongs. Surely you have heard of him. My understanding is he almost had a deal but didn't come through with the deposit as negotiated and the deal died.
