On the subject of real world meet-ups:

I've gone to a couple of WoVCons, and while they were not tremendously entertaining (most of us are nerdy guys who like to gamble: wow, exciting stuff, that) I do not regret going.

Talked with BBB and others, and spoke at length with the Wiz about various things; shot craps at Casino Royale with Ahigh in the rail next to me: I enjoyed meeting and interacting with these people in the real world.

Most of them were decent, interesting people, a nice group.

I had a negative experience with fat blond, but in hindsight what else could be expected from that histrionic bitch?

Some people just don't know how to chill, and get all worked up over nothing.

Those few WoVCons were enough, I don't feel any desire to return.

I'd encourage others to take advantage of this regular meet and greet, whether you are in good standing or have been nuked.

Frankly I think it could be grand fun were one or more of The Damned to show up, introduce themselves, and shoot the shit with the munchkins.
