Yeah, and you can find a wife from personal ads. I am not in the market for a wife, so I dont read or answer personal ads or visit dating sites.
And I am not looking to find new friends who I can give my social security number to.
I have plenty of acquaintances already.
So what if they all like to talk about gambling. Most wont talk about sports betting or poker...as most people on that site like to push buttons on a machine and play casino table tames.
And yes there are people like Boz or Fatblonde whocarry around the message board with them when they are out and about.

For some people ..they talk to their mailman 4 times a year and consider him their "friend". Personally I dont use the term that loosely.

But that is MY DEAL. Its not the world standard.

For me, some one I consider a friend takes many many personal interactions to know for sure...since just like dating women...you dont know the real person for many many months...or even a year or more....since everyone is on their best behavior in small doses. And long distance relationships take even longer....for bf/gf or just regular friends.....in long distance, you may never get to know the real person.

It is nice to have acquaintances as well..

Saying that everyone is into gambling.....is like saying everyone is into music...AND assuming they all have the same interests.

So I am happy you found "friends" at wov meetups. That is swell.

Yesterday (July 24th) in the Hot Blonde thread manboy tells his followers "By the way, my own weight is down to 160. I haven't been that low since I was hospitalized for food poisoning". The food poisoning is discussed in a thread called Wiz is Under the Weather. (2-5-15)

Without a shred of evidence and zero proof, he claimed he got it from a Guatemalan restaurant called El Santaneco. So what does he do? He uses his website to post the name, address, phone number and a photo of the business.

He said "I finally had the chance to snap a picture of the place where I got the case of food poisoning that nearly killed me". He just trashes the business in his usual shoot first ask questions later.

There were no other complaints and the restaurant consistently gets an A rating from inspectors...including the last inspection a few months ago.

I wonder if the place knows about this slander. It's been 3 years so I don't know about legal action but they should see an attorney.

What nerve just blaming anyone with no proof...a business with a clean record. I wonder how much manboy cost them.

We don't know where manboy goes all day...what he touches, who he touches. He could have gotten sick from a dirty door knob...or a dirty "model" for all anyone knows. But the "safe" move was to blame the restaurant.

In fairness it is pretty hard to prove you got food poisoning eating at a particular establishment. Only you would know where and what you ate for the day before you got sick, food poisoning can be pretty serious business.

 

Notice that the wall of shame has no new names on it for the last 6 weeks. Either they are secretly suspending people, or this thread has done some good.
In the climate of the manboy being asked by a member to step down from overseeing punishments, to Beached whale being told to stand down on different occasions.
