I am a sucker for 'trip reports'. I really enjoy reading about other player's experiences, both the gambling and non-gambling portions involving a Vegas trip reports. I just read through GreasyJohn's extensive trip report "Vegas Trip Report, August 2016", which I found to be a very enjoyable read, although I could have done without the pictures of his yogurt. He obviously put a good deal of time and effort into the report.

So some 3 hours later, not a single response, positive or negative. Not even an acknowledgement for his effort. This speaks to what WoV has now become. If you aren't posting about, boobs, and womanizing, or making fun of and betting against someone losing weight, or a food challenge or some other juvenile prank, there is no longer much interest from the 'penis' gallery. A site about Vegas and gambling as the name implies.....not so much anymore.

 

Are we talking about the mystery progressives?I believe that's the case for the 1k starters normally. If so, they regularly get up to over 10k anyway I have seen them at about 15k, since they are mystery progressives there's no way to tell what's going on. Every time I have played a mystery jackpot game over 8k I have gotten hammered way beyond what I felt normal, so I started avoiding higher numbers. My worst sessions have been when they were 13k +. I probably have over 350k spins @ $1-10 a spin on Mystery JP's and only hit one or 2 small ones(one at reset) Blink and you'll miss it your credits auto appear and onto the next spin(I would usually just auto spin and go online until the bonus rounds )

IIRC Sevens and Stripes(equivalent to Red White and blue IMO) I don't remember that being a mystery progressives.
1 COIN usually pays 2400 3 coin machine if they are giving 5k for a .75 bet that might be interesting. however if you have to play $1.50 on a .50 denomination that should pay $3600 anyways. $1400 that doesn't sound good to me.

Bulletproof Babes has to be new, I haven't heard of that on BV. I'll definitely check that out because I'm certain it's not a Mystery progressive.

One would have to assume games are all 100% random and they didn't mess with them at all(Why them 6 games I wonder, highest holds??). This was a horrible way to give out the money. They force people to play (probably at -EV) to get something they deserve already, it also allows new players who weren't affected to receive the money. Why is that fair? What a great marketing tool 750k cash give a way.

I would bet it was/is little or no positive EV on the random jackpot games or the SS. Someone may have cleaned up on the Bulletproof Babes especially using bonuses.

 

I actually don't care for TR's. Occasionally I'll read them but I'm not interested in reading about someone's gambling trips when I play and go to casinos all the time.

Remember when Zuga limited the editing of posts to an hour? That was last October and all the geniuses over there cried in unison that it wasn't enough time. The official word was that it was done to fight spam. Really? It couldn't have been done so that certain posters making wild claims couldn't go back an delete them? Nah.

So how's that working out, Zoog? Every morning, like clockwork, before the mods know what hits them, there is a spam fest at WOV. Everything from sexual aids, body enhancements, fake IDs, and kitchens. That's right kitchens. Dozens and dozens of kitchen ads...all from the UK. Hilarious. Just enter kitchens into the WOV search for a good laugh. The posts get deleted but the subject stays in the search. Too funny.

I'll say this. If you happen to read any of them, they're just as interesting as anything else on that vapid, dying site.

 

Well manboy did post pictures of himself standing next to a bunch of painted rocks. (Seven Magic Mountains). Some of the pictures are upside down however his trademark goofy look shines through.

But wait...there's more! Manboy says "I think I'll make a formal article out of this if I can get a model to come out with me and spice up the pictures". Now that's the manboy we all know.
