Thanks for the response. I dont agree with it all, but I do appreciate a calm response. I would guess if I posted something similar on wov, back in the day, somewhere along the line I would be hit with "trolling". Especially when I get to a juicey 2 conflicting direct quotes...that another mod or another poster would either answer with "why are you so interested in this as your life must really be miserable to harp on this, if you dont like this board go away, or "its mikes place. mikes rules. or "you are beating a dead horse".....you recognize those methods of stopping a debate, when the person on the other side(the right side) appears to be cornered. There is alot of attacking the poster rather than debating the comments when one is on the wrong side of an issue..

Thats the difference here. You were just partially cornered....you did find some cogent wiggle room...and you as a good debater, put it forth for all to see. You took the time to formulate a reasonable response(although in my mind not a totally acceptable rationalization vis-a-vis the point I was trying to make) . But thats what debate is all about. That is something Mission ran away from on this board. That is something that seemed to be beneath the wiz on his board.He would rather label the person a troll....suspend....and call it a day. BBB would rather call it garbage or slimy and look for a reason to punish...or close the thread. Mission might suspend me while calling me the weakest link.

This exchange could never occur on wov. There was a chance as I was the first to bring up the topic of customer service, and treatment of us as customers. It could have been a real discussion. But instead it was cut short, and ends up occurring with some meaning a couple years later once mods started to come here.

Dont you think WOV could handle a frank discussion on this topic without people having a nervous breakdown, or having claims that its trolling, or trying to destroy "mikes place". Couldnt there be a climate where people in charge could discuss issues and possibly agree to change as any good business would do? You know..throw around statements like you see here with you and mission..."I see your point. I agree with xxxx., i dissagree with yyy and here is why." As long as a thread called "discussion of the suspension list" was allowed by management(possibly created by management).....then why not make that thread a free speech zone. Why not let people vent and have discussion on that topic. So many people were suspended or nuked from that thread.....and it didnt even attack mikes math based theories which is supposedly the basis of the board. There is a "free speech zone" section...I think the "discussion of the suspension list" belongs there. That thread can be a great asset for management to learn how to better run the site....if only people would be more open minded and less defensive and thin skinned.

So as in most debates there doesnt have to be a clear winner or loser. I feel like I am the winner just because I was able to eventually get a cogent response from a mod. But as far as content, I doubt either of us feel there is a clearcut winner. We each got to present what we wanted to present. Past this point it will just be running in circles and repeating alot of stuff.

So thanks for the back and forth. Even our detractors on both sides kept their distance and let it progress without non productive comment.

I will always remember the very first time I played the game, losing $200, winning 1 bet out of 8. I realized from that first sit down, it is a money game, as in how you handle it, how much you are willing to risk, how much you will protect. After losing that $200, I then took off them $20k+ inside 3 months. Yes do I realize mathites are set in their ways and despite my prowess will never ever convince them that a betting progression will over come such a small negative house edge, ignoring the fact the card counting in BJ also requires bet manipulation, but there is an +EV edge, they squawk. Well the dealer is just as likely to get BJ as any BJ player, but we can split and double, yeah okay, tell that to those who don't get ahead for months and months at a time. It's all blinkered, closed mindset bullshit, just like me when it came to slots.

The best mathie of them all, couldn't cut it himself, so who is he to judge and scoff. I would have liked to shared some of my exploits, beliefs and approaches to the game, I think it would have been mutually beneficial, as there are some at WoV who are not only interested in the game but also play it, instead got harangued by the ISIL cunt dmscr and fuck all protection from the mods, (I think manBoy suggested I block him). Eventually snapping and subsequently nuked, I returned many time over, not because I wanted to post at WoV, rather just to to show that I could and get up manBoy's nose.

I really couldn't give a fuck when I'm next nuked, to me it's just a wind up being there, yet also a wake up call to the control-freak creep SHATford that he shouldn't expect to nuke who he feels like due to his anal rules and appointment of weirdo mods and there not be consequences. Some of us, don't rollover like puppy dogs and disappear, some bite.

I dont and havent posted there. I have said all along that I would not go back and do anything to increase the value of their business. I do believe I am a customer, and as a mistreated customer, I go elsewhere. Its my thought process I have stated from the beginning.

I invite you to investigate further. It will be a waste of time. I have no interest honestly of posting there, just because I will not increase value to a place that mistreated me, and mistreated some of my neighbors of the internet community.

I am not going to get into the customer/business/mikesplace view of the world. I know everyones world view of that....and you know mine.

And if you believe I am sincere in that world view......that we are customers that should be treated with good customer service consistently and with respect......if u believe that i believe that.........then you would never suspect for a minute what you stated.
