You're welcome, and thank YOU. It's been fun. Just...wtf we gonna talk about now?

Totally serious. As I've said, I've been there a LONG time. That Buddhism "section" is really just a thread. The "section" is religion. We had a Catholic priest as a member for a bit. That resulted in a lot of questions from Christians about gambling from a holy perspective, which obviously spawned a number of debates. Since so many threads were being derailed by the spiritual, a whole sub forum was created to house it. Same with the GLBT. Some saw a need for it, it was made. Neither is the purpose or the point, they just sort of sprouted based on need.

And I'll thank you for the quasi-apology anyway. Seems pretty clear it's no more than a difference in values and interpretation. I can assure you, I'm no spineless fuckboy.

Wasnt a jab, partner. I wasn't implying you made that elsewhere and are just fronting. I just used the common form of invest, you know, to expend something of value in the hopes of gain. You invest time and cash into Bac, I invest time and cash into racing. Invest effort into your yard or time into your child.

    No offense intended.

It seems someone or some people got to mission ..hence his quick exit without warning from here

So what kind of feedback have you gotten from mucnhkinland.....either posted on the wovsite, or via PM....not asking for names....not that you would offer....but give some specific examples if any exist

More interesting to me is how WOV deals with trying to protect the product from obvious promoters pitching stuff without approval compared to how it's allowed here without question. Take away the obvious "furniture" scammers, someone pushing a link without approval is barred or the link removed. Here it is allowed with question. Assuming the furniture guys and fake ID guys would be allowed here if they brought hits. Is this the difference between someone who has value to protect compared to someone looking to hit a Home Run of $700 off of a website name and a forum they added on it?

No problem. In fact, it might shed some light into why I so often come here with the attitude of "What the fuck are you on about?"

ZERO. Like, literally nothing. Wait, that's not 100% true...

Just today I got a PM from an irate member ripping me to shreds over I still don't know what. He finished his tirade with the threat that "i will take it to GF and let the rest of those people know how biased u are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" if I didn't acquiesce his request.

That was this morning. And that was the FIRST ever reference I've received that I even exist on GF. Axel, RS, WoN, Boz, etc and I have never spoke of this other than what has transpired here publicly. And I just now checked to be 100% sure, one other member, a relative newbie who I'd never spoken to before, referenced that he/she has read comments I made here, before getting on with the meat of their PM.

That is the sum total of every single morsel of "feedback" I have gotten from anyone. A mention from a new member, and a threat today. So all of the multiple comments about who's controlling what and why someone is being sent where, they just make no sense to me.

thanks for that quickie. I believe you, but that is surprising considering the quick disappearance of mission.
I dont expect you to comment for him, but just from my perspective...he came here, and gave us simple expectations that he would be here regularly with some couple of day lapses due to his schedule and workload. Then Puff he is gone. He was spoken to as I speak you.....with thanks and respect....yest still..........MIA.

Maybe he got heat for saying that I had a point and that he was a cop and not a legislator. I am guessing there are folks like WON, would love to hear someone other than himself come here and tell me I am totally full of shit.
You (and for a day, Mission) actually listened to points and commented without dismissing issues automatically out of hand. Points that shouldnt have been a surprise.

It may have shocked some that both of you would come here without guns blazing, trying to right the wrongs of a years worth of negative comments the preceded you on this thread.

That gunfight never happened....to the dismay of some on both sides.

Hmmm, you may have a point there. I just thought SP was when someone is using multi aliases at the same time. Signing on a new single account with a new alias but being discovered as a banned person of interest may have it's own title? IDK

WizardofNothing: "Talk about cash in a safety deposit box - I learned the hard way - when I worked at the World Trade Center - there were two banks downstairs - Citi and Chase and they limited the amount you could withdraw daily without notice from the teller so I kept a safety deposit box with 6 figures in it - hugeeeeeeeeee mistake"

Phew! With sentences like the above, no wonder you washed out of law school.

Tell us which bank, building and floor your safety deposit box was in. Did you save the notice the bank sent you after the collapse? We know that you like to save things like screen shots of conversations with juicie jennie so surely you must have saved that piece of history. Hope youdidn't misplace it...that would be a hugeeeeeeeeeeee mistake.

Don't make this about me. Typical move for the pathological liar.

From the same WOV thread - Powerball at 400 Million Jan 11, 2016. WizardofNothing: "Yes plus gold eagles and a few watches, we used to go out and to the casinos on Fridays in AC so always needed the cash. It was convenient because it was right in the concourse when you came down out of the elevators and could grab the cash and hop in the limo to the shore"

Gold eagles? Watches? Limos? Six figures? Normal things for a guy in his early 20s who just flunked out of law school.

Your imaginary friends at WOV are dying to know. What building was your safety deposit box in? Take your time looking it up...google can be your friend.

Freddy, it COULD BE that WoN is truthful.

Perhaps he was born into a wealthy family: a "rich kid."

    Could be.

    TYING IT ALL TOGETHER

Ok ,so the name of this thread is WOVforum is dying....Now thats a nice condensed topic heading,..HOWEVER if I had to make it more realistic, it would be called "wov forum is dying faster than it should be". And me and others detailed reasons we felt the title is true.

And we discussed some issues and you addressed them.
The uncertainty of different mods administering punishment unevenly...you said is something that is "cool" and I said it isnt, it causes an uneasiness, not good for business.
the uneveness within the individuals mods actions...you address with yourself...sometimes that happens...there is no good explanation..which I accept...since we all do things in life that feels right but doesnt fit into the pigeon hole of our life philosophy.
The "HOW DARE YOU" climate created by the wizard, and spread to other mods and posters
The "cry and punish" atmosphere that mods allow to persist, as people cry and get some joy out of seeing a resulting punishment.
The "dontlet the door hit you" atitude the wiz presents along with his punishment sprees to quell a "bad mood"
the treatment of women, which is more personal and I didnt expect you to comment on the wizards continual disrespect of his wife, or missions dumb blonde joke, or threads like what is your favorite womans body part.......
the different treatment based on what side of the issue you are on ,,,
the use of the suspension list to "shame" people, while doubling down on presenting the insult to a wider variety of people by providing a link.
the continued demeaning behavior BBB has toward others, recently causing at least 2 people to tell her to stand down or back off

we discussed most of the above, and from what I conclude(hence the title), is that all the above is slowly killing the site.
Maybe not one of the above is enough to make people flee. However there comes a tipping point in any decision people make ,,,,,,and with all those moving parts above going on at the same time.....it might take something very minor to finally get someone to leave. A cumulative effect.

The member "counter" on the front page of the board is down about 25-30 percent since 2 OR 3 YEARS AGO. Granted some posters like Axiom left upon hearing of the sale. But that was not a major loss of numbers. And if people go "invisible" the "counter" still seems to count them because the number listed is always higher then the counted names on the list.

So when you figure that over the last few years there have been newbies joining, and Still...The daily loss is about 70 member visits(which means as new people join, there is a trickle still leaving).....what do you say. In your opinion is there the cause and effect that I and others point out.

The issues listed above are real and do exist, you have given reasons why they exist, or have said that one or 2 are no big deal, and you may even agree that a couple criticisms have some merit. But in the end, they are all present and I submit.....they individually or together provide a tipping point for people to leave.......as it is a poor customer service climate.

So what say you? You have all the talking points that have been presented for a year now. We have talked about almost all of them,..so do you see how all the above can lead to a bleeding of the member base? To the point where EB comments that the board isnt as interesting as it used to be causing him to post and visit less.
Between his comment(and you did say you respect him) and "the numbers".....do you see the same correlation that I see?

Again - you are an idiot because it wasn't in a building - there was a mall concourse downstairs and it was in that- the buildings had turn style security and guards to get upstairs - when you choose to not be a pussy and show your face on Wov then I'll respond until then I'll leave you to go check the sexual offender list for your relatives

I'd say you are correct. For the most part WoV is down 70-75 (some days 100) daily member visits from it's peak a few years ago. It's probably down 100-125 with some new members cutting into that loss. And guess what....that is exactly what the new site owns want. New blood....literally.

WoV was never strictly an AP site (blackjack or otherwise), like a couple other blackjack AP sites that I participated on. But it did have some AP discussions, blackjack and other, which was my initial draw to the site. There is now far less AP's and AP discussion. But guess what...that too is exactly what this outfit wants. They don't want a lot of AP's, nor AP discussion, even if their online casino games can't be AP-ed. AP is a mindset. It's about positive expectation, but an extension of that is getting the most bang for your buck and that is not the kind of people/clients that an online casino group is after. So they are fine with the exodus of AP's and minimization of AP discussions.:(

Now the funny (sad funny) thing is that some where (and I am not going to go look and find the exact wording), Shackleford stated that his one of his objections was to have gamblers be informed and make the best wagers possible (something like that). That goes along with the AP mentality, but against what an online (or brick and mortar) casino group wants and the kind of customers they make a top priority. So Shackleford's 180 degree turn and his 'dumbing down' the site with less AP's and AP discussion, replaced by all the goofy, frat house nonsense, is exactly what a casino organization (online or brick and mortar) wants.

Conclusion: Shackleford may be an AP (I'll leave that for others to discuss), but he is no friend to the AP community! Some members of the community came to that conclusion with his association with Sands. I didn't hold that against him. But his actions here make it crystal clear. He is for sale to the highest bidder and he is no friend of the AP community. He should be though of in the same vein as teliot (Eliot) and some of the other known traitors to the community.
