It is a bit ironic that the most frequent posters are; EvenBob / Spike, who provides zero AP info, Nareed, can't say I've paid any attention to what she posts and third Arsey-RoyW who also posts ZERO info for any budding AP and has stated as much, he doesn't provide or share info, but will take it from you.

 

I feel I need to clarify this point just a bit. I don't hold the fact that Shackleford sold the site to an online casino organization against him. He would have bee a fool not to do so for that kind of money. But staying on and making the clear 180 degree turn against what was his stated objective....the 'dumbing down' of the site to attract a customer base more conducive to the online casino target group, is where he sold out.

Manboy puts his seal of approval on these gambling sites listed above. And based on his rep, a person might think that he has some quality control overseeing ability. I mean what the fuck is he "approving". Does he approve of the money that they(casinos) pay the company he works for? Does he get a "cut" for his approval??? What is the approval based on?

Based on recent news events about online slot irregularities.....he is not overseeing things that closely. I dont even know if he had access to the computers, that he could tell if they were fair. Nor would he know if at any point an online casino can flip a switch and make things more in their favor for a few minutes each hour.

you dont need to be an AP to talk negatively about online casinos. I have no math background, no computer background, and can see the ability for computer game program fraud when it comes to the millions and millions of dollars that can be generated from it.

They want APs, there to talk about AP stuff.....but I am sure would rather that they NOT talk about the negatives of online casinos. They would like them to imply that they were able to win at onlline casinos....and get newbies fired up...and salivating.

Plus the "since 1997" is misleading. It was brought to his attention..and he said that "since 1997" means he has been in business since 1997....but most would think that he has approved those casinos since 1997.

feel free to start a thread about hospitals. I will contribute and agree and disagree with points made by others.

Just because hospitals have areas for improvement doesnt mean issues in other walks of life cannot be exposed and discussed.

 

I agree that from a pure business point of view......they would want a load of 20-something people who just got their first job out of college, who have money burning a hole in their pockets for the first time in their life....wide eyes, and naive who think the idea of playing online slot machines or roulette is just "so so cool". The same people who in a real casino think the big wheel is "cool". Having 200 of those type members visit daily would be utopia from a business point of view.

But those folks burn out fast. They burn through the money and sour on the idea of online casinos and run away......leaving a deserted message board. So they do need the APs and old timers likeEB with world knowledge to keep things going. They need those folks as I said before to be the sugar that attracts the flies.

thats the thing I dont understand about folks like buzz. He gets banned by zuga, and then goes out of his way to return over and over to be the sugar that attracts the flies that click on the banners. Zuga banned him, and Zuga personally profits whenever one of the flys buy into the advertised casinos.
Personally I wont devote my time and effort that would bring money to people that accept/endorse the climate that exists at WoV.

 

In addition to the reasons given why I say Shackleford is no friend to the AP community, I left out the most egregious offense. He publically breaks down promo opportunities, prior to the promo, in a way that alerts the casino offering the promo to it's vulnerabilities. This has resulted in numerous +EV promo opportunities, being cancelled or altered (best machines excluded) ect.

When this happened once, I gave the man the benefit of the doubt, thinking, ok, he is so eager to prove how smart he is, that he didn't realize the consequences. But when he did so several other times, there is no other conclusion than he is a selfish, jackass, who's interest is NOT with his fellow AP's.

 

You know Larry, you take some of these things too personally. Buzz is doing what he does because it is fun for him. He doesn't give a rats ass about Zuga or LCB or Shackleford. By the same token, I have expressed that I believe I should be allowed back at WoV and IF I should be invited back and made the decision that I wanted to return, I would do so because I enjoyed participating and interacting with certain people, like EB and RonC and a number of others. It would have nothing to do with Zuga, Shackleford or LCB. I would guess there are numerous folks participating at WoV that don't give a rats ass about LCB or Zuga or Shackleford. They participate because they enjoy it. Don't make everything personal or into some sort of political stance.

 

Nobody really knows Zuga. Could he be as backward and stubborn as manboy? The worst traits for someone running a business.

Buzz wants to go back. KewlJ wants to go back. Zuga has the power to make it happen. I don't understand wanting to go back after being dumped on but Zuga can man up. He doesn't need manboy's permission. Man up Zug. It's not a sign of weakness...just the opposite.
