MC was not given "special treatment" until his violations amassed to the point of losing him for good. And remember, it wasn't just "editing", we also fudged quite heavily with the Martingale. Repeated 30's, over and over.

But again, that wasn't until we were on the verge of losing him for good. We never hesitated to send him for 3, 7, small potatoes. And that's where MrV is.

Actually, now that I think about it, I DO remember, before the Election thread got hot, some simple offenses likewise being edited with a notice from the mod that it had been edited, and an explanation of the rules.

It's not like it never happens for anyone but Crimm, and comparing Crimm's situation to MrV's doesn't hold water. And again, should V find himself on that sort of verge where he can't control himself and risks perma ban, I will offer to edit, publicly, on WoV, just as I did for Crimm. Haven't done it yet? Got caught by the 5 min edit limit, obviously that is $2.35M, not sterling. I get the thing about being appointed a mod to keep a forum running smoothly, being a labour of love, interesting, power thing for some, act of responsibility, yeah I get all that. Except WoV isn't a run of the mill gambling forum, it forms part of an indisputable multi-million dollar business. It no longer operates for love or passion, it exists to make money, obviously excluding those that are tasked with the smooth daily operation of the board.

I'm sure people like manboy, Josh, zuga would relish monitoring every thread and post, cross checking IP's for sock-puppets themselves. Like fuck they would, they would rather appoint others to do the menial unpaid labour. So who's gonna step up and help the rich become even more wealthy, while I may be struggling, yet there is and never has been any trickle down, plus having already been dissed once by some prossy hunting narcissistic egghead. Some are 'pissing on' people's good nature, that's the bottom line.

I personally lay off of this issue as I am allowed to learn more and more about Face. I know he doesnt want anyones sympathy. But give the guy a break. So for wealth creation, one just needs to find needy people? Fine and dandy if it was just a gambling forum, which nowadays it clearly isn't, rather part of a multi million dollar investment. As with any other business, staff at all levels are usually paid, whether you work at home or travel to a place of work.

If I was a mod at WoV, since my allegiance is not cheap, transferable nor to be taken advantage of. I would approach other mods to see if we could present a unified front, if yes, request a nominal monthly payment (only has to be small, but makes for a nice gesture). If the owners response is negative, then we all quit, because I don't provide my time for somebody else to become wealthy if I am struggling myself. I would give my time freely to the vulnerable of society, not those that could pay yet choose not to. Love, passion, occupying my existence etc, don't put food on the table. If there is no agreement from the other mods, I thank everybody, realize what a selfish narcissistic prick I have freely given my time to and call it a day. Of course I may have special needs; power hungry, holes in my life, which complicate matters, let me go and check.

Afraid not, obviously no longer, was she lives so much on WoV she hides her online status to save her embarrassment.

 

But you read the forum 5 days a week. I'm sure you only avoid posting on weekends or whatever because you're not set up to hide your multiple Identities on the move.
