Really? If someone calls you a blithering out of control belligerent drunk, they are calling all drunks the same?
I didn't see anyone caller her and her herd all fat cows.
The thing with you is, your belligerence spills over into your sober side and it's hard to tell. I know many happy drunks.

Sorry, wasn't trying. Didn't realize we were entering another debate because I thought we hashed this one already.

Dunno what "gilling" is. I had a boat but lost it during my financial disaster last year. I generally hit the cricks on foot as early as February, fish for trout and spawning smallmouth until May or so, then maybe do a bit of pond kayaking through June until the weeds get too thick, then hit the big lake on the boat until the trout return in October, and then fish for them and salmon through December. I'll get another boat so long as I can keep racing under budget, so probably "when I quit racing" =p

My opinions on other tribes is much like my opinions on Canadian politics. I barely care. In Iroquois traditional culture, everything is passed down from the mother. Name, holdings, even your clan comes from mama. For that reason, I don't make much of a stink that I've been left in the lurch. It's the way it's been since the Old Time, so it's OK. It just sucks when some "white man" from Ohio comes here to collect his four figures and free healthcare, whereas I have been in the culture, working for the nation for over a decade, participating in powwows, and yet still have my own people shunning me until it suits them.

I sort of expect the tribal situation to go to shit. Money corrupts, and this age of "EVERYONE GETS A CASINO" like it's the fucking Oprah Winfrey show is gonna cause a lot of problems in Indian Country. I already see it now. When I was coming up, grandpop's quarterly stipend was near abouts $70, just peanuts split from a modest, Nation owned C store and nightly, small stakes bingo. Nowadays that stipend is close to $3k, and Indian Country is generally poor country. And what happens when you give poor people free money? Drink, drugs, flashy cars, you know, horseshit. And that stipend begins at birth, so half of the kid's goes to mom, and the other half into escrow. Come your 18th b-day, a child gets near $80k, right in their hand. Lotta run down trailers with a whole lotta Escalades on 22's round these parts.

I dunno, there ain't no "right" call. Blood quantum, activity in the culture, name, someone's gonna get fucked. But what really is gonna happen is politics. Indian Country ain't nothing but a microcosm of the US. Money and power to a select few, scraps for the rest.

See, I disagree. Having worked for the Nation for forever, I understand yet still hate the preferential treatment. If YOU had a business, a gas station, a smoke shop, a casino, would you want to hire out of a pool of 500, or out of 500,000? You get these political appointments, and that is what you're describing, and what happens is you get someone completely unfit for the job who doesn't even want it and cannot appreciate it. Then you have other non-enrolled associates who have fought and worked their asses off for the job now having to carry this worthless golden child who can't get fired, and supervisors who have to put out even more fires, and managers who have to account for the lack of productivity, and it's a complete fuckarow. I'll fully admit I did more than my share of fudging numbers to neuter "Native preference" when I was in a hiring and firing position. It's one of those things that seems nice and reasonable on the surface, but is a complete fucking disaster in practice.

I OFFERED, yes. If I did actually edit something, which I really leaning towards "I didn't" because it's against my beliefs, it was because something was just far too foul to leave up. And since MC pretty much relies on "fuck", and I am no well spoken gentleman, I can't imagine he posted something I felt just had to come down.

I did offer. MC kindly refused and I never edited a thing.

maybe if you just claimed you were drunk....that would be enough.

every post, should start with the same sentence...or maybe have a permanent signature sentence
    "I am uncontrollably drunk "

then whatever offends any mod can be deleted behind the scenes.....no punishment needed.

Now, Mr. Crimm, don't be too harsh. It does get tedious, LarryS helping us out with our foibles and issues in thread after thread, but he means well. Hey, I have an idea. Let's just start a thread, "LarryS Knows Best," and he can hold forth without inserting his values omniscience on other threads.

I'll get the ball rolling. LarryS, one would think a thread devoted solely to you holding the floor while explicating on everything would be welcomed by you. This way, all of your wisdom can be found by readers in one convenient, clear place. And we're all about helping others, right?

thanks Face....in this case "offering" is just another brand of special treatment that Mr V and others never received.
Being offered to be saved from a possible suspension is a nice gesture. And others actually censoring the posts without prior consent in order to prevent suspension is also a nice gesture. That is great customer service.

Wow, someone got suspended from WoV and Larry is all up in arms. Big surprise there.

Or maybe, he doesn't give a shit about MrV (who does?), he's just using his suspension to throw more bullshit onto other people like MC for getting special treatment.

It's hard to imagine Larry only spends "20 minutes" or whatever such nonsense amount of time he claims to spend on these forums every day.

Wow.someone commented on a suspension at wov after others brought it up.....and RS is all up in arms..........NO SURPRISE THERE.

I wonder if he spends over 20 minutes a day scouring the internet to defend the authority figures at wov.

what if it is 23 minutes a day or 24? That would be sooooooo excessive....and worth perhaps a new thread to comment on.

And what if RS spent 25 minutes on sept 29th? Wouldnt that be worth commenting on.

who the fuck are the people with no lives that count the minutes others use to pass the time......you know sad minute counters like RS.

He cant make a point that is of a cogent valid meaningful nature..so he resorts to the counting of minutes.

    kind if weird, obtuse,and psychotic

BBB penned this, which I believes provides a bit of insight as to her current mod attitude: "So, addiction is emotional . Going for that high. I was an ATC addict. No question. Wanted the radar high, working in the zone, absolute mastery of my corner of the sky. Made me a very, very good controller..."

Posters at WoV would seem to supplant airplanes to give her a necessary "control" "fix."

Don't stray from the WoV designated flight path, or you'll get blown out of the sky.

I have said all along that actions show mods to be psychologically needy people, and this is the last type of person you want in charge of customer service.
One person in charge claims to suspend when he is in a 'bad mood"......it makes him feel psychologically well. It quells his ill feelings and emotions.
And now another person in control she needs the emotional "high" of being in control, being a master of her "corner" of the internet. Again, from a customer service point of view...the worst type person you want in that position.

The words of the people themselves that I have talked about, re-enforces my theories or suspicions. I have not been far off it seems. Rather spot on.

Just as a goof, MrV.....why dont you just respond to her post......"your comments on this topic are total garbage"

you could hide behind the "i am attacking the statement not the poster"......and also hide behind the......."a mod that shall remain nameless used that same response against my words".

Sorry to hear that. Anyway manboy is racking it in, living the life and I'm pretty certain had the circumstances of his mods forefront on his mind, while they toil for some wealthy Aussi and Eastern Europeans. Yep, ya'll do it for love, right?

Why are you trying to prove your critics right? I mean, I'm pretty sure I was addressing you when I flat out offered, right here in this thread, to protect MrV in the very same way I offered to protect Crimm. Yet, as you've been accused of, you take a snippet and flip it to make a point that's not really there, or in this case, COMPLETELY not there.

I don't get it. This way is not near as fun.

Pah, don't be sorry. Wasn't like I was taken or had harm befall me. I made a choice based on my values and, at least in the financial realm, it was a fucking disaster. My financial life is in tatters. So the fuck what? Money comes and goes. Integrity is one and done, and I saved mine. That's a win in my book.

And dude, I'm a fucking American. Pick any of my very worst days - being in the hospital taking a third dose of Demerol in an hour and still not even touching the pain - and I'm still better off than 80% of the entire world. Fuck I gotta cry about?

OK, yeah. For sure when I was eating twice a week, it'd have been nice to have been bestowed a glimmer of charity. It'd be nice to dent one of these med bills from the ER right now, or to have a hand in my forthcoming dental fuckarow. But while I don't know how much I'm "worth", I do know that getting through this and knowing I did every single fucking bit of it myself is worth a damn sight more than anyone would dream of paying me.

I'm rich in every way that matters. Face will be just fine =)

Sure there's some truth to there being many sketchy online casinos but not all of them are bad. Some online casino's had +EV Bonuses biweekly for year's. Never had a problem getting paid or winning. Many people are very closed minded about many things in life. Some people believe evrything they read or hear and that's the end of it.

Of course I do. Just having the word Vegas in the name doesn't help that site much. They could change the domain name and very would change. I very certain that had nothing to do with them wanting WOV. There are many other reasons they might want WOV. Even if just to keep it out of other people's or not cause confusion.

Larry I was going to say the same thing before after you claimed you only spent 20 minutes a day on here yet you can see that's a total lie. I have see you arguing back and fourth for long periods of time.

there is a difference between in an unsolicited manner offering to give someone uniquely superior customer service in order to protect them from punishment......and coming to a different website, on a thread devoted to pointing out the question of why is there uneven punishment and uneven "protection frompunishment".....and THEN offering a similar treatment to a member of this thread.
Does that mean that you woud have to be asked on a website for that special treatment?

Mission gave that special treatment without asking:
BBB says she had done the same thing

I am guessing this one member has been given dozens of special customer service treatments

And you have "offered" MC this special customer service treatment

So thats 3 mods doing it or offering it to one person that I know about.

So that leads to the question.......why didnt Mr V get the MC treatment from the 3 mods. Why isnt he as valuable a customer?

Why does someone get dozens of special treatments.....and Mr V doesnt.

Does he have to proclaim he is drunk in order to keep the mods off his back?

All he gets....I would have offered him to delete his word if I was around.

    woulda coulda shulda

Like I have said all along.....people over there live under the uncertainty of punishment enforcemnt based on who happens to be on duty.
