Which do you think is more advantageous and why?

    $3000 session with $100 units.

    Please expound on your statement.

I see no real disadvantages with this gambling method. Yes, you are giving up on any chance of a really big win and you won’t be able to capitalize on a long winning streak. But that is not a bad trade off for the possibility of slow, but steady, gains.

The first bet should be higher than the second bet like 2-1 then continue with your favorite progression .

Hit them right at the beginning No matter what happens with the second bet a one unit you are already a winner

But that is the reason behind the 1-3-2-6 or 1-3-2-4.
If you lose that first wager, you are not chasing, you just go back to one unit.

Staring with 1 unit is outdated and for beginners . The Up and a PUL method rules for EC.

Frequent lost first bets will soon mount up, followed by any successful WWWW (only a 0.0625 chance of that happening) will just be "money back". You finally snare a winner, not only do you let it ride, you pump another chip on top, you will be run ABSOLUTELY ragged by those frequent WL runs. I can't stand parlays, because I find them more mentally draining than busting a negative progression. When I win, i want that chip, the last thing on my mind is throwing another chip onto a Parlay. Because then when it fails (75% of the time), I will be even more miffed.

Parlays get me nervous too. I do like ND’s starting with 2 then pull back to 1 then move on. The first win that way makes you profitable on a WL. Of course then those proponents of 1-2 for LW will argue the same.

The Advanced Mongoose is something that you would recommend as long as you’re careful? I saw it over there in the Roulette Forum and it seemed interesting. Then rolled over to RFcc but just trolled because the last thing I need are those clowns harassing me like in the past.

You should have noticed my comment about RFcc .. Not too happy with that group either .

Them\n you have noticed my comments that FOUR units are a god return too. Nothing to sneeze at .

I once read about a method that combines Regression Up & Pull with a Fibo progression.
In short when you had a break-even or a win you regress after winning the first bet and push using Up & Pull and continue doing so until you lose your first initial bet with 2 units, so strikes and zig-zag would give you constant profits.
When you lose the initial bet you climb the fibo to break even and start over.

The difference is huge comparing 1326 and 2123 the first one needs strikes and the second one win both strikes and zig-zag and you only need one single bet to be in profit without losing it all back and get into negative territory.

In my book, Regression Up & Pull is superior then any other existing positive progression.

    Cheers

    why not try like this:

    1-3 win-win start over
1-3-2-3-5 win-lose go until first win and start from above again
1-2-3-5 lost lost... go until the end of the progression. If you lose all progression do second try but double your base bet.

all those 1-2-3 systems can not break the barrier of the houses edge, what you need is a unlimted bankroll and non table limit

with that and a fair game of roulette or baccarat you will eventually land a black or a banker and close out a win
as long they are not cheating it would work but they have limits and we have small bankrolls so its a no go

Up and Pull combined with regression is the mother of all winnings .

I got to agree. Plus you got to have a decent bankroll. You could formulate this into a semi fixed betting scheme whereby the regressions correlate to the win/loss going forward. I always keep track of where I stand in terms of units lost or won in order to adjust my regression while using a neg prog.
