This is why I don't come on to this forum very much. I get baited into replying to stupid crap. I agree with you that NOR and S40 modes are a bunch of BS being pushed by a two bit hustler named Ellis Clifton Davis. All that stuff is as obsolete as the Commodore 64. Everyone has their own way of playing because everyone sees the game differently. I have played with some of the best players in the world. We all play different from each other, guess what......sometimes they win more than me and sometimes I win more than them. If you are winning more than you are losing stick with it.

WTF is this story, haha....how can i even hack someones account...and if i know how to do that i would succeed but apparantly i didnt.
Problem with me is that i put different pass on every forum, account etc. And then i dont type it i just use ctrl+v and then maybe happenes that on ctrl+c was not my pass or username and it happens that i make an error. At that time i was not even aware of it and was not even private member. Than one day one of the private members send me PM that i tryed to hack his acc, and my acc was banned. That after some time when i decided to join btc i saw that i cant eneter on my old acc so i created new one. Keith didnt contacded me nor advised anything. By that time btc was already crap and all good guys was gone.

 

I choose to side with my colleagues, they are the most reputable guys I have ever known. Good luck.

The problem with most players on here, other forums and all the casinos is that they think that bet selection is the only thing they have to be good at to play this game. While bet selection is ONE of the most important tools there are other things like discipline and money management that are equally as important. I have my own money management methods that I incorporate that works for me. Question, 1. Bet Selection 2. Discipline 3. Money Management, which is the MOST important? Discipline is the winner in my opinion. While you break it down to it's simplest forms, excluding ties baccarat is a 50/50 game, a coin toss. Even the most poorest of player will catch on to a streak of wins sometime but if you don't have the discipline to walk away with that win you are going home a loser. If are having a real bad day and don't have the discipline to tip your cap and walk away, you are going home a REAL BIG loser. Trust me, I have been there and every player on this forum have been there.

Work on all three components of the game and then you will consider yourself a professional.

JBS- I know you are going to comment on something because that is the loser that you are.

 

Mcvince I know you have got your game together like Oz, John etc but you all had to go through the learning curve eg the basics as much as the general dislike of his progressions Ellis passed on the basics. like all things sport etc things are improved by smart thinking or modern thinking. In your case you saw modern thinkers like Papa Joe, Norm and i think John is now a modern thinker of the game. I see a lot of International players and a lot of them are really good players. It takes time to be a good player and also aptitude if you haven't got the aptitude, play to enjoy the entertainment but it can be very expensive. Many people enjoy golf but they know they can't make money at it. Many people gamble and they all think they can beat the casino and take money home but they rarely do. My question is why is it so Professor Julius Sumner Miller Oz will know that name.

There are so many answers to your questions. I will try to answer your question but my answer is subjective on how I look at the game. I am sure that my answer will invite debate and disagreement but so be it.

First,

A wise man corrected me once, I used the word gambler and he stopped me and said that he is not a gambler he is a player. When he clarified the two terms he really put it in perspective that to play for a living you have to stop "gambling".

If you are going to a casino with a bunch of friends or your significant other then go have fun, that is what gambling is for.

If you are trying to play this stupid game for a living then you have to throw away all the gambling tendencies, eg: playing every hand, betting the prop bets etc.

You also have to accept that losing is part of the game ( This is probably the hardest part ). Men have this "Machismo" gene in them that hates to lose. I am the worst loser in the world and have lost a boatload of money because of the gene. That is where the discipline comes in.

You are also correct in that there is a learning curve. It really takes years and TONS and TONS of practice. If your significant other has told you yet that you are on the computer practicing too much then you have not practiced enough. Every great player I know still takes a significant time out of their busy schedules to play practice shoes, research and network. This game is not like BJ, it is an everflowing journey.
