See the silly racist Itie Glenda is deflecting the blame from Trump regarding his slow action on the Coronavirus pandemic which is sweeping the global at the moment, which is unfortunately claiming the lives of approx 900 country men per 24 hours, a damn shame, as these wouldn't be all bigots. 10,000 infected New Yorkers, equates to 1,000,000 actual infected people.

Anyway, like the megalomanic Trump said, it's no worst than the flu and will pass, one day it will just be gone, just like a miracle.

By the way, Trump knew about this back in early January, but basically did fuck-all, nothing beats a bit of a population cull to bring down unemployment and ease the burden on the Health System. But hey, now its' all good yeah, you got your test kit right?

And by the way glenn lawres, given your age, when you catch this, it is a given you will require ventilating, so I hope you got your triple A-okay top shelf medical cover and you didn't squander all your income at the baccarat tables for the last 40 years yes?

I mean you a top notch players right, you must have sacks full of money stashed away for this very purpose?

Incidentally of the 1 million infected New Yorkers, prior to the lock-down, they were infecting two other people and on it goes. Using a very conservative mortality rate of 4% means 40,000 will die, IF, the mortality rate reaches 7%, most likely, well you do the maths.

Way to fuckin' go Trump, it's only the flu and will pass, just like glenda. Folk I've discussed this with, all say the same thing, america will be hit very hard, due to many factors, notably the cost of and lack of for many, access to decent health care. Glenda will be ok, first in line for a ventilator, as he has thousands and thousands of dollars tucked away from his 40 years of Baccarat action which he can draw upon.

They reckon over time, 60~80% of a countries population will become infected, it's not difficult to see that a lot of countries were the population don't have access to a decent health care system, will literally be decimated, places like South America, South Africa, India (due to over-crowding).

Suggest you old timers who don't have decent health coverage, dig out your running shoes, because the stronger your lungs, the better the chance of surviving this. Anyway enough of all this, get back to discussing gambling, let's not dwell on the 2000 people that die every 24 hours period, world-wide, next time you have a bet, place a bet for them.

Any "bat soup pangolin fried" eating mother-fuckers, you have a lot to answer for.

It's easy to come to logical conclusions if you like your set of facts more than other people's set of facts. But for me there is no sense in arguing over different facts and how important or true they are. Trump shut down flights from China long before everyone else thought the time for it should have been. For that he was labeled a racist. So I give you these words of wisdom from a movie. Everyone has their own set of facts. The real scandal here in America is the congressman and senators that sold off all their risky stocks had a global pandemic broken out any time soon. They cleaned up and purchased stocks that would do real well in this disaster. I guess politicians have their own set of facts too.

Oh yeah, I expect to die in all this. My lungs are already compromised by heart failure. I'm enjoying what time I have left getting this project studio going. All the leaders can do is show that we need more ventilators. They know that it's going to hit everywhere. Nobody is talking about needing oxygen. I hope they have a bunch of that to go around too? So If I get the mental energy I thought I would build the proof of Reading Randomness and a sim. If I get sick I will publish the software here with the algorithm written as plain text.

Now for some music to go surfing with the aliens with.

I wanted to ask earlier, aren't there secure heavily guarded self-reliant communes in America? I'm sure I've seen a few on various TV programs years ago. If they isolate, they should be fine...

Regarding long lines at gun shops LOL, should be long lines at the Super-Market. It won't be like a Zombie movie were you shoot infected people from your porch :D Cos' the infected people will be too sick to even leave their own home.

Hang on in there Gizmo, you're not alone in this, while it's scary nobody lives forever anyway, granted it doesn't seem fair to go out this way, if you have zero contact with others and clean everything you come into contact with, we all can survive a little longer. I was very upset now I'm just bloody angry, but would like to hang on in there to see how this pans out, but it's inevitable I'll catch it sometime down the line

This might sound strange or weird to you. I don't fear death. I took extreme sports all the way to the max between the ages of 21 and 45. There were a couple of times that I was 100% sure that I had killed myself doing something. But I lived thru that too. And I was a God believing idiot there for a long time too. My ability to relate to what is real was sort of limited like when a smart person is also somewhat or sometimes awkward. God, that does exist in my experience, slapped me upside the head, as was needed. I was transformed, not by my understanding of the way things really work and are meant to work, but His understanding of what the Spirit of God does to idiots. So I have faced death many times. I know that what has happened to me spiritually is in God's hands. So I have a double dose of assurance and courage.

I see this whole thing like this. The people of this world are all stuck on the Hillary Step, right at the top of Mt Everest, and it's tourist season for international travelers. What people want and what they need to do to survive are two different things. I won't waste my time or impose upon anyone's intellect that spiritual concerns might be one of those two things. Many people pride themselves on being atheistic. I can't teach anyone to embrace the horror or to execute a well trained skill. I didn't climb walls in Yosemite just to survive. I did it to improve my skill. But when I thought a ski jump that might produce a really exciting 50 to 75 foot jump, and ended up being from 600 to 800 feet, well that was everything going wrong. At that exact moment I was sure I had killed myself by mistake. I know what happens to me when I face death. I calm down and relax. Go figure? I'm not worried.

I'm not worried by death either, but this is horrible way to die, unable to breath, lying on a trolley in some Hospital corridor cos' a Doctor has chosen to try and save somebody younger, while your organs start to fail. I think I'd rather OD with a bottle of scotch and some pills.

That completely cracks me up. I don't want to just lay there on a gurney being ignored in a hallway because they ran out of ventilators either. It's stupid to actually go to the hospital if they can't actually do anything. That bottle of scotch sounds pretty good actually. I'll make sure I have a couple of those standing by. Here, they let you call in to see if they have room. I just don't want to be BSed into getting the hallway and the bum's rush. You made me laugh. People just don't know how to go in style.

“We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself. At the end of the 15-day period”

Good God, the peak of the virus won't have even hit the US in 15 days.

Basically Trump is saying "you live or you die!, it's that simple, the markets are of more importance.

It might be what he is saying. I might be that when he says that we must reevaluate the situation it's that what he means. He also knows that at some point we will have to defend ourselves. This thing is going everywhere and I hope there are enough ventilator machines and ICU beds. NYC is the test here in America. The hottest spots will show us what is happening and they will go back to work once it becomes a lost cause to isolate in those areas. It's going to be a very interesting month. "May you live in interesting times" -- old Indochinese curse.

I think America will be very lucky if they get away with less than 1,000,000 deaths. While some can recover at home, many can't, it's the ventilators that are needed. As Mark said, he catches it, he's gone, likewise myself. Not afraid of dying, but fuck sake, didn't they learn fuckin' anything after the SARs outbreak, it's the same causes that created this, bastards will eat anything that moves....

Yes, that, and also be sure to request the UP and PULL method from the hospital nurse who gives the sponge baths.

Well those bastards are dying by the millions now. I just got a viable story that the W.H.O. is covering up for the Chinese. But reporters have found some very interesting stuff coming out of China now. People are dying by the millions and are being taken straight to the incinerators. But what is really interesting is that smart phone accounts are being shut off by the millions too. The true story of how this is going to go is starting to unravel.

I don't doubt it. Xi had the earliest look at the econ numbers after the first wave of production shut downs over there two months ago, and he probably couldn't believe the carnage. The "outbreak" was "fully contained" in China a day later no doubt.

Their economy was already a house of cards for years really (google: "mark-to-market accounting, china"), and Wall St. was happy to look the other way as everything continued upward.

The White House is going through the same thing right now it seems "What do you mean our GDP will be minus one million % for Q2???? GET EVERYONE BACK TO WORK" :D

Yep, in Wuhan they shipped in 20 odd mobile incinerators which were operating 24/7. People being welded into their homes, have they gone back for the bodies yet? I did see a picture of a massive stack of cellphones of people that had died. Hell of a price to pay so others can enjoy their Bat soup, about time other Asian's got their own house in order. Ditto in Thailand, Philippines, Laos.

China didn't learn from it as well, prioritizing their image over containing the virus, silencing their own doctors warning about the new strain, still no regulation of these wild animal markets. And now we're playing catch-up. They did the same during the 2003 SARS outbreak if I remember it right...

Good on Taiwan though as they seem to be well-prepared after suffering many casualties back then.

China is not the only stupid people out there. People in New York City were encouraged to go to the annual China Town Dragon Parade. It was while the angry left was busy telling everyone that Trump was a racist for closing entry from China when this first got started. There are many examples of encouraging New Yorkers to ride the subways and to not worry. Now they are dying for not being racists. And New Orleans is getting the bump for holding Mardi Gras. It turns out that this was a great big bad idea too.

This can't be stopped. Embrace the horror. Do you have red eyes? You will. It's a tell tale sign.
