That 200,000 is extremely conservative and overly optimistic. Somebody who does modelling for the UK government and who's figures are similar to other bodies and thus far figures matches his organisations projections, estimates 2 million will die in the USA.

Over 4000 people are dying every 24 hours, this figure is NOT flattening nor showing any signs of abating. This mainly is the 1st world that is being ravaged, it's not hard to see this figure rocketting once this starts to decimate 3rd world countries.

Yes this is not the Black Plague or Spanish Flu, scientist then again we don't exactly know what it is, or when it will stop. Just like the start of any gambling streak.

There are already two strains of this virus, it could mutate further we simply don't know, it could become seasonal. Some that recover are showing signs of lung damage (crystallisation), while scientists understand it, there is little they can do at this current time.

The flu kills approx 1 on 1000, this kills 1 in 25, yet according to some, it will pass in the few months.

I am no doctor but China and WHO played foul in this, for sure and dictatorship countries like China, Russia will never tell the truth but in our country, we have real time updated data. IF you are very healthy, you might even get infected yourself without any visible symptoms and those infected from you could die. This is the irony of this disease. There also exists the possibility we both might not be here in 4 weeks, the UK peak is expected to hit in 2 weeks, we are already losing under 700 souls per 24/hrs, a figure that will rise.

 

Something to consider;

After 55 days the number of confirmed cases was 100,000
After 76 days the number of confirmed cases was 500,000 (x5, 21 days after hitting 100,000)
After 84 days the number of confirmed cases was 1,000,000 (x2, 7 days after hitting 1/2 million)

For every confirmed case, there is usually 80~100 unconfirmed cases behind that, this thing is moving way too fast....
