KJ i dont differentiate between mental deficiencies and physical deficiencies as you do.

Mental deficiencies are oftenless curable than physical ones.

 

I greatly respect Kewlj's opinion but I must disagree on this one.........
if our sense of humor is "out of bounds" to you then that's a fair criticism. I don't think it is but I can undrestand if someone think it is
but to say that there's "hate" involved........................ I don't think so...........

I can only speak for myself but I do not "hate" anyone on WoV........
I may make fun of them but again there's no "hate" at all................and I'm pretty sure the others on this forum don't "hate" either

Kewlj have you ever seen a comedian nmaed Don Rickles?
he makes jokes about people's race, religion, looks, age, sex you name it................
say what you want about Don Rickles but I don't think he's says all of those jokes out of "hate"
He just does it to get a laugh thats all...................and thats what we do here!

Don Ricklees even says himself that he means no harm and people believe him...........so why can't you believe us?

Very well put. The only hate I've seen here has come from the highly toxic Wizard of nothing good. He says he's done here but no one is rejoicing....no one told him not to let the door hit him in the ass. And no one is running to mommy or the FBI. There's room for everyone here.

 

He wont find "hate" and "despise" as he claimed hurled at those folks. He was just rambling on and making assumptions.

He has no problem refering to someone as socially backward which is a mental issue. It could even be something like aspergers that causes the issue. Mental illness to some is not something to be hurled out in public. But it seems calling someone out on a physical affliction is off limts, but on a mental affliction...its all good.
I dont go for that hypocrisy.
It seems everyone wants to be the arbiter of what is proper, while at the same time verbalizing the improper.

socially backward men, fat women....all people afflicted with something....something that causes the issue.......one is off limits and one isnt according to one person.

I keep with the facts and shine the light on their actions and words. No one cares what or who I hate. Why would I post that here if I did indeed hate someone. How would that further my commentary? How could that help me make a cogent argument to proclaim that I hate someone. Actually that tactic would ruin my credibility. It would make my commentary shaded as "hate", clouding facts

Thank you, LP9. Problem is, I don't feel like I am accomplishing much here. My top goal in message board participation is to engage in a little BJ/AP discussions and hopefully share some experiences that might benefit someone along the way. Next is maybe some discussion about almost anything Vegas, which I love (I bleed neon). Then maybe some off topics, like sports, politics. And of course have some fun along the way.

I can't really say that I am accomplishing any of these things here participating in two threads entitle "Shackleford discussions" and "WoV forum is dying". Here I am just another guy who feels he was wronged by Shackleford. I have had the opportunity to express that (and I thank whomever is responsible for that) and maybe that is a little therapeutic.

The other thing that has come from my participation here, is one again it stirred interest and many members have expressed their support for me and disapproval of Mike's handling of the situation. Self-servingly, that makes me feel good, but none of that even matters. As I have said before Mike cares not one iota what I, or anyone here or anyone on his site, thinks. Mike cares only about Mike.

In the end, I know he was unfair and mistreated me and he knows he was unfair and mistreated me and that is what really matters. He has admitted this privately, but he is not a big enough man to admit it publicly and take responsibility. I thought maybe I could 'shame' him into that, but really why should I even have to do that. And what has become obvious is that you can't shame a person with no conscious or soul.

I probably should move on, for my own sanity, but likely will continue to jump in, when something is posted that re-ignites my anger of the situation. That is my weakness.

 

Your post if full of personal insults. Could that have something to do with being barred on forums. You seem to be obsessed with engaging a forum with your personal issues. The time you spent on all these posts, you essentially wasted your time and many readers time with petty issues. It might be time to get a new handle and put KJ to rest.

Again, I have been barred at two forums. Norm Wattenberger's (Qfit) blackjack site due to a feud with Wattenberger and now Shackleford's site because Shackleford is a friend of Wattenberger, who asked him to bar me there as well. This notion that I have been barred at half dozen sites is a lie spread by Wattenberger.

Player, I respect your opinion concerning a new handle, but most professional players that post on message board sites don't do that, although a few do. Most use the same of similar handles, so that other's recognize who you are and know who they are dealing with. A good example is the recent new poster on WoV, Billryan. Remember the guy that a couple weeks ago started a thread asking where KewlJ was and Wizard jumped all over him and suspended him. Well this person Billryan today posted some criticisms of me dating back to Ken Smith's site. Of course I have no idea who this person is because there was no Billryan that I recall on Smith's site. Am I supposed to guess who this person is or was? At least show me the courtesy of not hiding behind a changing handle.

For what it's worth, today this Billryan made reference to me being homeless and riding the bus to AC several times a week as a young card counter. These were two very different times in my life. I was homeless for 3 months, my senior year of high school, in Florida, from the day I turned 18 and my stepdad kicked me out, until I graduated high school 3 months later. The period that I started my card counting AP career was 3 years later when I was 21 and at that time I lived in Philadelphia. I had a job at the time that I quit, to pursue card counting and had an apartment (with roommate) and continued to have an apartment and pay my share of rent throughout my early years of low limit card counting. Never was I homeless as an AP. But never let the truth get in the way of a good criticism. He did get the part of riding the bus to AC 3-4 days per week. It was cheap transportation with the casino rebate covering the cost of the RT ticket. So what's the point Billryan??

As for Billryan's other statement that I bailed or "no showed" every time I was supposed to meet him.....that is hogwash. I was and still am very protective of my identity. I almost never agree to meet people, except in very rare cases when they are vetted by one or two close AP friends that I trust. I am quite sure I never agreed to meet Billryan and then "no showed" or bailed. Never happened! I may have not agreed to meet him, which he took offense at and I am sorry about that. Without even knowing who you are or were posting as back then, I can assure you it was nothing personal Billryan. I am very cautious, some might say paranoid about protecting my identity, but it has served me pretty well.

 

Edit: Billryan is not the poster who started that KewlJ thread and was suspended. My bad. That poster was Bluechow. But Billryan did surface or re-surface in to that thread after a 7 year hiatus. But anyway, everything else stands.

I have spent a great deal of time over the last 3 months attempting to make my case against the unfair treatment by Mike Shackleford involving my suspensions and eventual banning at WoV and his untruthfulness during both the time the situation was unfolding as well the aftermath or what I call the cover-up.

It occurs to me there is no better way to make my case than to share Shackleford's own words in numerous PM's to me. I hesitated to do this because there is a expectation of privacy involving private conversations, but when someone absolutely refuses to be truthful and exercises extreme “two-face-ism” of repeatedly saying one thing privately and another contradicting statement publicly, I believe the right of the truth exceeds that expectation of privacy.

Here are some interesting statements made by Shackleford via PM to me:

Shackleford: “Norm has complained about the post in which you write the following: Those three words were, 'mostly self promoting'. It does not matter that you said several nice things about Norm before. He was very offended by that comment and filed a complaint as a violation of the truce agreement. I found it in violation as well and had to take action”.

KewlJ Note: Remember Qfit (Norm) repeatedly lying to the membership of WoV that he never contacted Mike and complained about me?

KewlJ Note: I saved this one for last, meaning it is slightly out of sequence. I don't dispute that Norm is an outstanding blackjack mathematician. I can appreciate that Mike also being a very talented mathematician would hold Norm in high regard. But none of that has anything to do with Norm's contributions at WoV, which are small compared to my own, not that I EVER suggested it need be him or I....that was Norm's doing. But this 'gushing admiration', along with Mike's expressed negative opinion of me, most definitely yet again, calls into question Mike's ability to be anywhere near objective or fair-minded.

I think Mike's own words used throughout this thread make a pretty compelling case for why I am upset about the treatment that I have received from him. And I think sharing them with the membership of WoV, as best I was able to, will finally allow me to lay my case to rest. But as a closing item, I wish to reprint one of Mike's most revealing statements.

KewlJ started yet another thread yesterday on VCT just to troll Rob. He's got 11 posts in the thread so far. Does this guy even go to the casino?

He reminds everyone: "I am a professional blackjack player in my 19th year of supporting myself from blackjack advantage play." Sure he is...and the casinos send a limo to pick him up while all the other pros get kicked out. I guess seniority counts.

Don't worry about me freddy...I am doing fine. I think everyone every one is aware I am playing less blackjack so far this year. Some...but far less than usual. I almost feel like I am semi-retired enjoying life, but still had a nice first quarter. I also think everyone knows the circumstances behind that. But that is ok. Diversifying and hitting some non-blackjack advantage plays will worked to my advantage in the long run.

And Junket king, really?? You are worried about who said what to who 6 years ago? Some of you guys are really looney tunes.
