Casino General Improvement of Content on Gambling Forums

I joined my first gambling forum in 2005 and I was active till 2010. Mostly on Gamblers Glen where I had over 20,000 posts. I was on several other forums also and had lots of posts. I stayed away from these kind of gambling forums for the last 11 years and I've got to say, the content from people who are serious about learning to play in a winning fashion has really improved. Of course there's still the same number of jerks, but that's to be expected.

I credit the improvement with the explosion of online gambling and access to the internet. What used to take a person decades to learn before the internet can now be done in a couple of years. I'm seeing a lot of really excellent posts here from people who know what they're doing. 13 and 14 years ago there was a few people who knew what they were doing and a lot of whiners begging to be taught. Times seem to be changing and that's a good thing.

 

Keep it real Alfred. you were the most prolific poster at WoV, the big difference with WoV is that you couldn't get away with posting the crap regarding your Roulette claims, you wouldn't have been driven off the board, like as happened with a few others, such as GR8.

Do you know who the original John D Rockefeller was? Richest man who ever lived and probably nobody will ever be as rich as him when adjust his net worth for inflation. When he went out to dinner with his family he would always scrutinize the bill to make sure it was exactly right before he paid it. He could afford to buy the restaurant he was in a million times over, why didn't he just throw a lot of money on the table and leave? I will look in the meat section and instead of paying $13 a pound for ribeye I'll pay $6 a pound for a perfectly fine ribeye steak. If canned green beans are on sale for half price I will buy 25 cans for my pantry. The other day I was in the dollar store and they had canned kippered herring for $1 a can and I bought all they had because in the grocery store where I shop it's $1.69 a can. People who have money don't buy the most expensive stuff they possibly can just because they have money. You obviously have zero experience with having money. You just gave yourself away big time. The most frugal people I know are the richest people I know. Like most poor people you live in a fantasy land of what your life would be like IF you had money. When in reality it would not be that much different. Considering I worked in the Corporate World for over 25+ years, mortgage free, owned multiple properties, had my own business, company director, fretted by V.I.P hosts in a few countries, I think it is safe to assume I'm use to be being around money.

When you're doing well via one's casino action (as you have claimed for the last 15+ years) and your wallet is bulging with high denomination bills, small change is a hindrance, you know what I'm talking about, yeah? Few years back went with the family shopping on a Sat morn with a few K in my pocket, said to the misuses you can buy anything you want, we really struggled to spend $600, odd appliances (think we bought a new Toaster and Kettle which we didn't need), clothes, footwear, nothing we really needed. Anyway rather than go home, I told her to drop me off at the casino, I'll be home in a few hours. Went to the casino and won over $1k, so arrived home and said to the misuses, everything we bought today the casino paid for, plus they gave us some change too. Life can be like that when you you know what you're doing, you have no qualms splashing the cash, none whatsoever, $30 on a taxi, no problemo.

BTW Wealth people tend not to associate themselves with eBay scammers and those that hoard food for 4 years and buy stale bread and semi rancid-meat, you don't know any rich people, you only read about them and assume. You keep mentioning Rockerfella, that family and Buffet, Bazos, Gates and anybody else you care to name drop like it's adding justification to your meagre life-style. Here is £13000+ which I had sitting around on my mantel piece, that is a hell of a lot of bets for a $1 bettor by the way.
I was accumulating the chips as I didn't want the casino to know how much I was winning each night, waiting until I choose to rub a particular managers nose in it by cashing them all in at once, the buzz was worth it just to see hear their "well done" through gritted teeth. As for the cash, it generates too many un-wanted questions, if it is continually deposited and withdrawn from a bank, not that any $1 chip player, professional bargain food hunter would know.

Yes, ignore/block they are the same thing. On other sites I've been on if you block somebody you can see what they said if somebody quotes them. But here you can't, all you see is a reply you don't see the quote so you don't have to read the person you have blocked. I got to say they have some superior software running this site, I'm impressed with it.
