Some of you folks have a hard time understanding that someone could think one candidate is a disgusting slimeball and the other candidate is completely unqualified to be president. Your black/white is straight from a 1960's Father Knows Best.

    Didn't need no welfare state.
    Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great.
    Those were the days.

And you knew who you were then.
Girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man like Donald J. Trump once again.

Ditz, Once again you fail to identify the enemy. It's 'Rules for Radicals' by Saul Alinsky

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rules_for_Radicals

"Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals is the last book published in 1971 by activistand writer Saul D. Alinsky shortly before his death. His goal for the Rules for Radicals was to create a guide for future community organizers to use in uniting low-income communities, or "Have-Nots", in order for them to gain social, political, legal and economic power.[1] Within it, Alinsky compiled the lessons he had learned throughout his experiences of community organizing from 1939–1971 and targeted these lessons at the current, new generation of radicals.[2]"

It's not what we lost from the 50's, it's what 60's radicals have taken and are attempting to take further. Those tools, the Millennials (also known as Generation Y) are all set up and ready to wreck everything. (There is no truth other than the truth that is used to keep the establishment in power. Don't listen to the truth. It will only keep you down.) It's really a well done war plan, properly executed. I wonder if your children will one day put you to death. When will there be just enough retards to bankrupt America and call for the government to step in and outlaw capitalism? It's fun to watch a fifth column work its trade right in front of everyone's faces.

The protesters of recent years, the Occupy folks, BLM, the Sioux at Standing Rock and now the Trump bunch are no more of a viable threat to the Union than were their grandparents / parents in the Vietnam anti-war movement.

People thought the sky was falling then with the massive rallies and marches, but the nation survived, just as it will survive the latest rounds.

Not all people welcome change, nor can they agree as to the nature of change which is necessary.

The only difference between a liberal and a puppy is that eventually a puppy stops whining.

I dare you to get and read this book: https://www.amazon.com/Telling-Truth-Lynne-Cheney/dp/0684825341

    Telling The Truth
"Challenging the rhetoric of multiculturalism, radical feminism, critical race theory, and other popular trends, Lynne Cheney calls for the restoration of truth and reason to a central place in our lives. In Telling the Truth, Cheney gives us a detailed examination of American cultural and political institutions, journalism, and education. She shows how a disdain for objective truth and principles has created a moral and intellectual crisis that threatens the foundation of America's legal, political, and social order."

It tells the story of how and why the education system in America was hijacked. It tells all about the mentality of almost every person beginning an education since 1985 having a liberal perspective.

I think the days of worrying about incoming missiles are long passed.

Smuggling parts of a nuclear bomb into this country is easier. Or what about exploding one 2 miles off the shore of NYC or LA, OR SF/ THe nuclear fallout would be enough to render miles of the richest real estate valueless....not to mention the health issues from nuclear exposure to a highly compact 2-3 million people/

The enemies of USA dont have to blow up people or buildings in order to totally drive us into a financial depression. The nuclear fallout in a prime area of this country without one building falling....is enough to accomplish an enemie's goal

Lets see....he can go through weeks or months of a trial.....and fuck the american people by not preparing for his presidency.
he could fight it tooth and nail and then with the little time left, do an "all nighter": and be ready for his first day.

But I guess he is not that kind of guy. I guess he takes his job seriously.

an example where he is putting america first.

    bravo

there are reports of college professors cancelling class the day after the election to help them(students) deal with the disappointment of the results.

this is what we teach the millenials now. ....when things dont go your way.....dont go to work. ...dont complete your responsibilities.....instead sit home and mope.....sit home and sulk.

    a liberal college education.

One person filed a lawsuit against Trump University. Then a group of lawyers in California with an agenda went looking for clients to represent so they could file a class action against TU. The lawyers worked pro bono. Thw whole thing has political hack job written all over it.

Trump, never known for settling, did it for the good of the country.

You're going to owe us another 40-some Bravos, as there are another 40-some lawsuits pending against Trump.

And still no history lessons from the history buffs regarding whether anything similar has happened in America's past.

A billionaire who was involved in 3500 lawsuits against people, the majority of whom were sub-contractors, is now the champion of the working class. Good luck with that.

Ditz, Every job I did for a customer included the customer challenging my contract. Customers often believe the reputation that all contractors are crooks. The way to calm them down is to sue them. Law suits like these are always being settled out of court. I had an arbitration clause and used it every time a customer started acting like a turd. The jobs continued. The customers had a sense that I would stand by the contract after my counter challenge. And I always finished these houses with a grateful customer. But they always came at me to test me. I moved up to no customers after a few years of that bullshit. Buy my houses after they are completed. Then find somebody that gives a damn to change them to what you want.

Now some contractors do crappy work and need to compensate the builder for what they screwed up. In the old days you would just bring your army and kill them. But now we are civilized and don't take heads. Same goes for disputes where the builder charges the sub contractor and holds back money. That's how you get so many lawsuits. It's completely normal for a big developer to have a continuing supply of lawsuits. I prefer the old way of doing business.

those social "activists" were too stupid to be able to separate the war and the sacrifice of the soldiers...unlike today where no matter what we think of the political efficacy of the troops in various warzones......we at least recognize the sacrifice.

I admit....I was happy to quietly go to college, and not spend time in the military, and I didnt give much of a thought to the people who did serve.....like I do now.

You hear "thank you for your service" these days......never back then.

    Ditz should like this: https://reason.com/archives/2016/11/20/america-called-bullshit-on-saint-hillary

"America Called Bullshit on the Cult of Clinton
The one good thing about Trump’s win? It shows a willingness among Americans to blaspheme against saints and reject the religion of hollow progressiveness."

"If you want to see politics based on emotionalism over reason and a borderline-religious devotion to an iconic figure, forget the Trump Army; look instead to the Cult of Clinton.

Ever since Donald Trump won the presidential election, all eyes, and wringing hands, have been on the white blob who voted for him. These "loud, illiterate and credulous people," as a sap at Salon brands them, think on an "emotional level." Bill Moyers warned that ours is a "dark age of unreason," in which "low information" folks are lining up behind "The Trump Emotion Machine." Andrew Sullivan said Trump supporters relate to him as a "cult leader fused with the idea of the nation."

What's funny about this is not simply that it's the biggest chattering-class hissy fit of the 21st century so far — and chattering-class hissy fits are always funny. It's that whatever you think of Trump (I'm not a fan) or his supporters (I think they're mostly normal, good people), the fact is they've got nothing on the Clinton cult when it comes to creepy, pious worship of a politician.

Clinton was described in the subhead of a piece for Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter. "Maybe [Clinton] is more than a president," gushed writer Virginia Heffernan. "Maybe she is an idea, a world-historical heroine, light itself," Nothing this nutty has been said by any of Trump's media fanboys.

"Hillary is Athena," Heffernan continued, adding that "Hillary did everything right in this campaign… She cannot be faulted, criticized, or analyzed for even one more second."

That's a key cry of the Cult of Hillary (as it is among followers of L. Ron Hubbard or devotees of Christ): our gal is beyond criticism, beyond the sober and technical analysis of mere humans. Michael Moore, in his movie Trumpland, looked out at his audience and, with voice breaking, said: "Maybe Hillary could be our Pope Francis."

Or consider Kate McKinnon's post-election opening bit on SNL, in which she played Clinton as a pantsuited angel at a piano singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," her voice almost cracking as she sang: "I told the truth, I didn't come to fool ya." Just imagine if some right-leaning Christian celeb (are there any?) had dolled up as Trump-as-godhead and sang praises to him. It would have been the source of East Coast mirth for years to come. But SNL's Hallelujah for Hillary was seen as perfectly normal..."

I'm not sure what scared people more -- the idea of a woman in the White House whose husband did whatever he wanted, which doesn't speak well to her ability to control those near her. Or, conversely, maybe men were petrified at the idea of a woman in power who didn't really care what her husband did, and treated him like a petulant fifth grade child. The latter undercuts male power and authority much more than the first and probably scares the living daylights out of many American males.

Don't be naive. The issue with Trump's way of doing business is that one of his key components to making money, the dozen or so major bankruptcies, isn't an option when you're running the United States. Oh, second thought, maybe it is. I'm personally looking forward to it.

Try again, gizmo. It's normal for a big contractor to have some lawsuits. It's nowhere near normal for a contractor to average a lawsuit every three days for 40 years. Trump's volume of lawsuits is unprecedented, and he is not the only real estate magnate on the East Coast.

Go ahead -- look it up. Find any developer who averaged a lawsuit every three days.

Its funny. Trump won. He was greatly outspent by all his opponents. A dozen opponents in the primary and general election had 100s ofmillions of dollars to dig up all the dirt on Trump and expose him. Opponents, investigative reporters all had the chance. And the media would have gladly given anything negative some airtime.

so now we have people on this thread with "look what I found""hey look at this"

get it through your head.......all that shit you think you found....has been out there for the year Trump has been running.

Its just examples of Trump legally using the system that clinton created in 30 years of public service.

meanwhile there is real concern about ILLEGAL behavior from clinton.....and thats the difference.

Exactly, so simple. Like someone on a gambling board would know the dirt on Trump, etc., etc. It has all been gone through by the RNC and numerous US Attorney's OIG's every which way you can imagine. End of story. The complete end seriously.
