    Yep "Black and Low", "Black and Low".

    He'll be pleased no doubt and hoping it continues, losing today (WTF), Murphy's Law after making a withdrawal (low on ammo).

    Goal target 100u, was cruising just under +50 up, then two bastards of a shoe (think ND sent them), W9 L15, W9 L17 ouch. Then a shoe which was W16 L8 pulled me back, still 40u down on the day. Still pushing for my goal of 100u, battle is not over yet.

    3 more shoes, W11 L11, W14 L17, W19 L17, with a bit more aggressive betting, ahead for the day but 25u from my previous high. 70u away from my goal. No crazed bets, maintain composure. I will only fail if I have a suffer a rush of blood and lose patience, they are making me work for it :D:D

    3 more shoes, W16 L21, W16 L19 (an improvement), W17 L9, I actually made money on all those shoes. Forgot to mention earlier. Something I do as routine, £50 bet out, slap £5 on the the Tie (I record placed Tie bets and recoup later, win or lose, I end up with a string of 1's). Tie win, as it did earlier and pays 9-1 in the UK, so £45. Drop the £50 bet to £25, no bet the Tie, it slows down the progression.

    £100 bet, then £10 on the Tie. If the £100 is on the Banker and wins, then record 4 lower value units that need to be recouped (2 that were on the Tie and 2 for the Banker tax). I want the full whack.

    My focus has been to pay the price of playing additional shoes and not go wild trying to force things along, too long in the tooth to fall for that, impatience is a killer. I'm approx 23 units from the goal I set myself, I should achieve that hopefully inside 3 shoes after I've had some dinner.

    So will recommence in about 30 mins, 3 strings;

    2-2-2-2-2
    2-2-2-2-2
    2-2-2-2-2 (I don't need to win 30u, but will help if I run into a worst case scenario)
    1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 (these are simply for cushion to absorb losses if needed)

    Know fully about the game and what it can offer ranging from the worst to the best in terms of probabilities and always remember that worst could hit any moment. Once you realize that losses or bad luck could start to kick any moment, you will never be greedy while playing.

    Scoring and paper notes reinforce staying disciplined. They also keep you busier from doing stupid things.

    Meh.

    Surprised there is not much interest in this. Clearly most players in house are not writing anything, but scoring should at least be helpful as it provides an accurate look at the swings. Also, aren't most people doing the testing of them shoes via paper or a spreadsheet?

    A lot of players just want to gamble!!!

    Or are totally clueless, such as buyin for £1000, big smiles with their buddies, stack of 8 pinks in front of them, first bet £300 :D:D:D

    So if that goes down the tube, they have a just over a third of their buyin left, it is not long before they re-buyin, usually for another £500, now they are chasing, trying to turn £500 into £1500 just to get even and no way will they drop their bet size to below £100, cos' it's all about face.

    Gotta love these young Chinese students, there is a fresh influx of them every six months in the local casinos. Sending messages back to China requesting more college funds as things are so expensive in the UK LOL.
