If you developed a bet selection method, with a martingale, capped at 6 steps win or lose

and this method beats 7 shoes, would you think you had "something"

these 7 shoes are a mixture of terrible twos, choppy, and streaky, it has it all

I have been testing the same 7 shoes and finally created a bet selection method that beats all 7

you guys have been testing longer than i have on the game of baccarat...would I have something or is it doomed?

How much you making per shoe? just a matter of when you get hit and the frequency of the hit(s).

    So nope.

Then again expect to fail once per 5.4 shoes, more down to the sample you chosen.

I have a few bet selections that can beat 7 shoes. Question is: how do prevent losing it all back? Money management of course. That’s something I struggle with the most.

You'll make approx 10~11 units per shoe, when you get hit you'll lose 64 units, 5.81 shoes worth of profit and your time gone. 6 more shoe to recoup sweating you don't get hit again before you get you money back.

Say you get hit and drop 64 units. You play another 6 shoes and recoup, law of averages, the more shoes you play, the more likely you'll get hit. Anyway, you recoup, play the 7th shoe and get hit again, now you have to play another 6 shoes to recoup and the fun or otherwise starts all over again

    What's the problem here???

i am no fan of martingale

I have been playing casino games for a long time. it is the kiss of death

I am attempting to create a bet selection method to survive it. I will likely fail

10 shoes in does seem promising though

Is this some kind of public service announcement skit that someone puts on each year?

    here it is

at first it wont be understood

im still trying to figure out a way to explain it

    but here is the transparency

    - 6 wide matrix
    - results written left to right
    - betting that 3 rows up will repeat in REVERSE

i can really explain it without a video example

    @RouletteGhost ,
Marty is bad in whatever bet you use. What you are thinking to be an unbeatable/tough to hit pattern could form in thousands of permutations and combinations of cards. My advice: You have been lucky so far. Do not try anymore.
If you are hellbent to give it a try, try it on Zumma 1600 as an acid test virtually.
Take my words, my own studies, researches and plays including simulating million of hands of baccarat and spins of roulette conclude that there is no magical consistently winning bet that is better than all, with which you can keep winning. All will have good, bad, worst, best and average times and every bet will be affected by variance and house edge too.

and so far you are winning till 12th shoe is nothing big. It is called positive variance. Do not conclude anything based on such a small sample. Small samples are always biased.

    Hello!

What MM do you recommend to avoid big variance?

    Regards

Variance comes from your bet selection, not money management. VDW bet selection is said to reduce variance and playing multiple tables does the same.

Variance can not be avoided. You need to tackle that.

My String method handles variance, fixed ridged MM options do not.

Yes I stated Martingale isn’t smart

However in the short term it’s not bad

Decreasing exposure is the only thing that saves you from the house edge

What if the house is hanging over a cliff?
