I know you say this humorously Boz, but I am not really upset with anything. This guy is running around saying I had a losing year, when I didn't. I shared my year as I was going through it and it was lousy. I managed to win a bit at the end that put me in the black for the year, but way below expectation. Now had I actually had a losing year, I would have shared that as well. No shame in it or anything. I am a professional blackjack player, card counter and there is enormous variance involved which makes it possible for short-term results to be in the red, even a year, especially a year shortened by covid and casino shutdowns.

So I can and did prove he is lying. He took something I said part way through he year, in September when I was in the red and is intentionally lying about results for the whole year. It only matters because it proves he is a liar, which I think we all know anyway with these escalating math defying claims.

 

Actually my claim is 28 wins out of 30 rounds Boz. It may have been 27 of 29 though as I wasn't actually counting the rounds. It happened in 2011. I wrote about it shortly after it occurred at a blackjack forum and later shared the experience at WoV in something I refer to as "the perfect shoe". You can probably find an account of it if you are really interested.

Short version is I lost some rounds early in the shoe when the count was neutral and just starting to climb, but by when the count got to a very high max bet count with roughly decks remaining until the cut card, which using the 5.5 cards per round estimate (heads up) method would have been roughly 30 rounds remaining, I did not lose a round. Pushed 2 rounds, but won every other round at max bet for what still 10 years later is my single biggest winning shoe and session ever. A lot of heat came down from that session and a personal friendship with the pit guy on duty that lasts until this day.

Here is the thing about streaks. They happen. I play roughly 70-80 thousand rounds of blackjack a year for 18 years now. People that put in a lot of casino action, whether AP or recreational players are going to see some streaks that by the math alone, seem unlikely. Alan and 18 y.o.'s is a good example of this. And sometimes, innocent mis-remembering or selective memory comes into play as the person remembers a little more than what really occurred. I believe this to be the case with Alan.

But then you have people like Mdawg. If you read through Mdawgs chronicles or adventure and I wouldn't wish this on anyone, you will see mention of many streaks. All winning streaks in which he had money, usually parleying on the streak. And just like the rest of Mdawgs claims, the number of wins in these streaks must escalate as time goes on to generate the same attention that he seeks. Hence, the 60 win in a row claim, which is just preposterous.

Mdawg is simply a guy seeking attention, which requires his claims to escalate over time, which they do. Once you understand and accept that, everything else falls into place.

 

These days especially, bed laden and out of commission (the same way he was end of last year), there is not much the UNKewl one does besides babble to himself or babble about the MDawg.

But, fact remains...I proved that he ended last year in the red and then gave up with direct quotes from the UNKewl one himself.

Of course, being a perpetual whiner, who knows what he actually did after he ended in the red and vowed that he would give up. This UNKewl one is notorious for indecisive mealymouthed backpedaling. He has probably posted a million words about MDawg here at GF since vowing that he would never post here again.

One thing he is known for - is writing tens of thousands of words at a time about MDawg and in response to MDawg posts. In a SCHIzoPHRenic up and down alternating way.
