When I hear turning point I think of Battle of Midway or Stalingrad but how in the name of Zeus can ya identify a "turning point" in a baccarats so, and in real time no less? But that's just the sort of "insight" one should expect from the alrelax, hey hey.

    Of course, after all his signature states;

Baccarat, actually a mixture of Watergate, attacking the Gotti Family and the famous ear biting Tyson fight leading to disqualification and a near riot. Bac has all that more.

Even more over the top than GR8 posting that playing Baccarat is a career. :D

I wonder if Glen can find some Turning Points in today's shoes? All decent winners and for me the 2nd shoe was the best.

After reading an old thread of mine over at WoV, I assure you thee is no chance of that happening.

The original Walter Mitty pails in comparison to this latest one.

Actually I have let him be, by not bringing up his name while exposing at the pathological lair. I noticed he popped his head in that thread and let him be, I thought he was dead. In reality GR8 is a mini version of Glenda. Glenda has taken the lying thing to a whole new level.

I'm guessing the Gr8 ain't so great now, having lost his job few years back and now the ugly reality of his career playing baccarat and exaggerating on the internet might be hitting home.

What's with these Walter looney tunes Mitty's writing books, long before asymbacGAY anther middle aged screw-ball, gr8 was suppose to be writing a book, or approached to write a book. Fuck that, Spielberg called me last week, he wants to make a movie about a professional baccarat player.

A kind of mini-trip report from yesterday. Was going to post it last night but my head was too frazzled.:D

Don't ask me why but I always like to sit out a shoe if it's already in play and wait for a new one to start. So I am sitting there watching a 14 Banker streak unfold plus quite a bit of dominant side action. The only positive to that I suppose is that I am starting off on the right foot discipline wise.

So finally get to the first shoe:

    P B PP B PP BB PPPPPPPPP B P B P B PPP BBBB P BBBBB P B PPPP B PPPP B P B P B PPP

A good shoe for me until towards the end some silly slot host comes up to me asking why I am not using my players card. I never use my players card and told him to go and annoy someone else. So I ended up +20 pretty much just flat betting that shoe. A few nice runs interspersed by a single B or P plus a few nice runs of chops as well.

    Second Shoe:

P BBBBBB PPPPP B P B P BB PPPPP BBBB P B I stopped the second shoe here after a few nice runs on the FLD and went downstairs for the Chinese Buffet and had a few drinks.

    Shoe 3: PP B P B P B PP BBBB PP B P B PPP BB PPP BB P B PPP BBB P BB PP B PPPPP B PP B P BB P B PP BB PP B PP BBBBB

This shoe was a bit of a disaster. I completely screwed up my recording and ended up giving back most of my profits from Shoe 1. I was really pissed off and kind of serves me right for getting too cocky and really shouldn't drink and play because my style of play takes a fair bit of concentration.

Anyway, I eventually thought OK, no real harm done. I am pretty much back to even and let's go again and concentrate and try and make a few units and get out of the joint.

    Shoe 4: P B P BB P BB PP B PPP B PP B P B P B P B PPP B PP BBBBBB PP BB P B PP BB P B

Some nice chop action in this shoe and hardly anything over two's. I managed to recoup the 20 units lost from the previous shoe and so was back in front by 20 units.

Sometimes it's good to get a jolt or kick up the backside and realize that you are not unbeatable and can't win every shoe. Although my loss on the third shoe was self-inflicted and going back over it later, although it still would have been the hardest of the 4 shoes, I shouldn't have lost 20 units. Still, shit happens and today is another day.

Appreciate your honesty. Likewise I prefer to wait for a new shoe.

However if I saw a 14 Banker steak and wasn't on it, I would have been all over that for the "cut", 3 or 4 attempts then stop. I'm use to betting anti-streak, it makes mathematical sense.

We are prone to making the odd mistake, momentary head rushes. Happened to me yesterday, had been playing a few shoes, getting impatience to reach my goal, ended up getting sucker punched by a Player 10 streak. Dropping 72 base units in the process, didn't fancy placing a 80u bet, which would have won (easy to say after the event).

4 shoes later, I'm back where I started, as you say, today is another day.

I will say this, when I stop, I STOP period. If I grab a meal, drink, I will never return to the table, NEVER. I always carry in the back of my mind, "today is good day, I don't want to risk turning it into a bad day", and further jam myself in the place due to greed, desire of wanting a few more units. Simply not worth the mental anguish if things turn sour, because you never know.

Not losing can be just as good as winning, after any difficult session.

Thanks for the tip JK. I will make it a rule to never go back and play after stopping for a meal and drink. Why tempt fate if you have already taken care of business so to speak and you are right because it's just greed/ego. I was playing at one of these electronic terminals yesterday where it is hooked up to a table with live dealer which then gets streamed around all the Genting Casinos. One thing I noticed is that although they still hand shuffle the cards, it is a much faster shuffle than at the other live tables with players. My experience with these over the last month or two is that you seem to get more streaky shoes or dominant ones like BBBB P BBB etc.. They have a timer of around 15 seconds plus around an extra 5 seconds of displaying the previous result. So plenty of time for anyone to get a bet down. I don't mind them and it pretty much replicates an online experience I suppose where you don't get any live table distractions.

I assume somebody at the table which produced the 14 bank run had somebody hollering with the super pay egalite side offering that they offer.

Not sure why but they have done away with the Ur Way Egalite side bets at least at the one I go to. Admittedly I never saw anyone play them anyhow. On these terminals, the only side bet is the Banker Pair or Player Pair at 11/1. The Tie bet is 9/1.

They are not offered online or at terminals, due to their paranoia of card tracking. I meant at the table wherever it was. 12 Banks usually means thousands of pounds bonus. Even with the odd Tie, there should have been at least 8 = £50

The 14 Banker streak was at the electronic terminal when I first sat down waiting for a new shoe. One thing is the Casino I go to is mostly Asian players and I have never seen any of them play the Baccarat at one of these electronic tables and yet a lot of them will play Roulette on them.

I like to start a new shoe but will jump in with spot play if it's already started. More bets if a lot remains, less bets if it is ending fairly soon.

I'll go either way on long streaks of repeats or chops. Today I hit a 10 chop and got 9 of them. On the chops I generally keep on until I lose. Not so with the repeats. A lot of times I'll bet the LG (Longest Gone) and either stop or bet the cut. If I lose and it goes long I'll likely miss the long run. But if it's a LS (Longer Still) I'll get them all. So it's kind of a crap shoot based on how the shoe has played out.

Being influenced by some stuff here more recently I've been betting some anti with a short Marty. So far haven't lost and if I recall correctly only went 8 units twice. Today I made 5 units on that and went 2 units only once. But I'm not sure if it makes a difference because I'm also giving up winning a long repeat by doing so. I could win the Marty and profit 1 unit and miss winning a bunch in a row just flat betting! Maybe just adds an element of unnecessary decision choices?

Couple of shoes from earlier tonight

    Capture22.JPG

Not until the 38th hand did the shoe hit the 3rd line, afterwards it missed for another 14 hands.

    Hurry along chop chop

    Capture23.JPG

Did like the dealer much, I'm sure she had it in for me, 9-8. 7-6, 5-4, 1 -baccra

But after a placing a couple of table max bets, I recouped via sheer will power and guts.

Nice one, you even have me re-evaluating this now (just been playing it). I started off playing Baccarat playing Anti and was positive after many months using a Fibo. Really helps if you have lots of tables at your disposal and even a good friend so you can hedge tables. It takes a fair bit of effort as you are jumping around a lot which is why I gave it up, so you're probably past it Jim (LOL).

And here is the next best thing, 13 tables I can watch (1 is offering Sic-bo, the other is £1000 min). Simply jump in and play 'AS6'. What a lot of mistakes players make and stupid know-it-all jerks like Glenda presume, is you don't stop, so when the streak of 14 or so comes you get wiped out. 3 bets STOP, nobody knows if you would have won the next bet or it might have gone to 20. Fuck it, there is always another ticket to ride around the corner. Of course it is better to ride the 6, 10 and 14 streaks, but they don't exactly announce themselves in advance.

Regarding the image below, the damn-est thing to be offered online. Three of the tables are SQUEEZE CARD games, yep, you get to slowly squeeze the card edges, sides, using your mouse, hahaha, you gotta love that. The first table is a real table in London, you get to listen to all the table waffle, disputes, changing money and so on. The small talk can be interesting.
