This evening I started playing around with a 6 wide matrix...recording baccarat decision left to right, then betting against 2 rows up (in other words betting against the decision 12 back)

I modified my testing to the same 6 wide matrix but instead, betting against the decisions 3 rows up (in other words betting against the decision 18 back)

using a 6 step marty (for testing purposes)

ive tested 3 shoes so far (from the live shoe thread) the progression never busted (however I know it will, its a matter of how often)

so after the shoe starts, after 18 decisions it is go time...or sit in middle of shoe and record the past, to me it seems perfect on organic baccarat (real cards, robot arm)

so if you bet 18 back and lose, proceed with progression, stopping on a win

This is the first shoe in the live shoe thread

bold and underline is the win

so again, its betting against 3 rows up, or 18 decisions back, decisions written left to right, ties ignored

3 shoes so far, no bust...ill post them

curious to see when the 6 step busts, I know it will

maybe its stupid, I have free time

    disclaimer

    i claim nothing

betting against 18 decisions back has no mathematical advantage, I am just trying it out

I don't see the point of 3 rows up.

Why not just pick an odd number for the length of rows (7) and bet it's opposite directly below. The rationale behind using an odd number, it will save for from any long chops, you'll also be kicked in the goolies against a 14 streak, but don't expect to see them often (unless it's online action).

Then it's a simple mish-mash of whatever. Odds of 7 row length repeating, 16,384/1 Nice odds those, this is what the house has to conjure up to take your money!!!!!

Yeah but it won't save you against non-consecutive long streaks on the same side, that might occur later in the shoe.

In fact doesn't have to be long streaks, repeating two's will also do it, common as muck those are.

had my first progression loss. did great for 6 shoes.

    was + 44 units

last shoe one line busted and that shoe was +5 and -63

so running tally on 7 shoes is -14 units

actually not terrible, need to fine tune OR continue testing to see if that shoe was an anomaly

the shoe that had the losing string was extremely choppy

i can cap it at the first three bets only so the max possible loss is 7 units....a 1 2 4 progression is easy to recover

i wonder how different all of this would have been if i capped it at the first 3 bets of the string only so only 7 units were at risk

would only take 3 winning shoes to win that back PLUS profit so still seems ok to me
