Not really. I guess you got to read between the lines. The answer would be, "No" You don't really know that much about the game and don't really play it. It's obvious you don't have a strategy to beat the game otherwise I'm pretty sure we'd hear about that instead of "a rough breakdown" used as a lead in to talk about yourself. TMI (too much information) Frank.

What I find annoying about you Frank is you're agenda really is all about aggrandizing yourself. You're smart, maybe brilliant, maybe a Mensa genius who knows? Perhaps you're extremely insecure or just lack socialization? Maybe it's your mother's fault? Or maybe you're "on the spectrum?" Whatever . .. but annoying. You must drive your roommates crazy!

So what's the final consensus, women should be running the world but they're not? I would find that very hard to believe. Every woman I've ever known in my life was terrible about making big decisions. They were great at organization and running a business on a day-to-day basis, but bigger decisions than that they were not so great. My wife is the smartest person I know, that's why I married her. But seeing the big picture doesn't seem to be her bailiwick. That's why she has me.. She is a micromanager, I am a macro manager.

And yours is not? We all make posts that are about glorifying ourselves and our lofty opinions. But you apparently think your Mother Teresa and Jesus Christ all rolled into one. You're not, not even close. Get over yourself..

This is clear evidence that Spike can't see himself in the mirror. Most of us can look in that mirror and tell the difference between information specifically descriptive of any playing technique and a person gushing in overflow mode over their own personal experience that does nothing more than signal (me too.) ... But my story will communicate it different and you will then see how my experience will bring home the shared information in a foundation of concrete. That will yet be another reason to see how wonderful I really fit in with others. My story is better and I live to tell it. That's why I'm here. "My wife is the smartest person I know." This is not luck. I'm smart enough to get a smart woman. That's why we eat out-of-date canned food. TMI LOL

In the 1980s they found a sunken ship in Lake Superior from the Civil War era and on board where hundreds of cans of food. This food was over 120 years old at the time and they sent a lot of it to university to be studied. What they found was the food was still good, no bacteria, it had not gone bad. I know somebody that has been a prepper for a long time at least 25 years, and they regularly eat canned stuff from their storage that is 12 and 15 years old and they never have a problem. Most of it is meat, some fruit and vegetables don't last as long. But being terrified of eating expired canned food is just another example of how big industry has brainwashed the public. They want you to throw away expired canned food so you go buy more of it from them. And most people are so paranoid and ignorant they play along like the good little sheeple they are.

"Most of the food you buy comes with a little sell-by or best-by date stamped on it. But these dates are—essentially—made up."

Nobody actually has tested a can of corned beef to see how long it lasts after the made-up sell-by date because Big Industry doesn't care to know. The only food required by the federal government to have am expiration date on it is baby formula. There is no federal law concerning food expiration dates. And it's only been around since the 70s when Big Industry realized that if they put a date on something people would throw it away and buy more of their product when it went past the expiration date. My grandmother had a huge amount of canned food in the basement most of it years old and they never got sick from eating any of it. So you good little sheeple keep reading those dates that are totally made up out of thin air. Just like you all got vaccinated when they told you to because it was going to make you safe. Look how that worked out, sheeple..

That does not phase me in the least. What cracks me up is how serious you take it. All this personal comment stuff and all that long winded explanation and qualification to be relevant. You are a gambler that has perfected your own winning style and you text bomb this gambling forum in hopes of making your gambling work even better. Meanwhile your "TELL" on the internet is coming off as a Mr. Know-It-All. You've got a comeback for just about everything. So you are fun to push. We all know that you will go to your explanations and / or excuses. You are a button to be pushed.

It seemed like you needed one, Mark. You made a wisecrack about eating expired food which means you do not understand what the expiration dates on food mean and I explained it to you, I wised you up. You are old enough to remember the days when there were no expiration dates and did you see people dropping in the streets from eating all that expired food that they didn't know was expired? Of course not because in those days people knew how to tell good food from bad food by using their noses. Now we've been conditioned to throw perfectly good food away because Big Industry has put completely made up expiration dates on it and you play along with it because you don't know any better. So you're welcome, you learned something today. Next time you find that can of Spaghetti O's in your cupboard that expired 2 years ago go ahead and eat it, look at the money I just saved you.

Nope nope nope, never been a gambler, I never make a bet unless I'm reasonably sure that I'm going to win. Gambling is for fools who have no understanding of what money is and no respect for it. I will never be a gambler.

    Y
Wrong again. I have a comeback for everything, not just 'about everything'. Just so we're clear.. And I'm here on this forum to learn things to improve my game and I just learned something 2 or 3 days ago that's huge. And it was right in front of me all along as it usually is. But guess what, I'm not going to share it with you because obviously you've gone off into la-la land again and are trashing me every chance you get. That's fine Mark, I was expecting it, I know you like a book. Good Mark/Bad Mark, you really have no control over it.

I could not find the records. I thought I kept them, but I could be wrong. Here's what I remember, but it's not 100% confirmed. My memory is really good but it's not perfect and this was more than 22 years ago.

It was a blend of betting for or against streaks combined with and odd progression.

Rocky would watch the shoe for the first 25% betting small or not at all to see if it was a streaky shoe or choppy. If it was choppy he'd wait until B or P made four-in-a-row and then bet against the streak. If the shoe was streaky he'd wait for one side to make 2 and then bet for the streak.

The betting progression was as I said odd.

If the first bet won it rendered a 4 unit win
If it lost the bet increased to render a 3 unit win
If that lost the next bet went for a 2 unit win
If that lost the next bet would still get you 1 unit ahead
If that lost then the goal was to break even
Finally the system could no longer martingale so he'd just try to get back half of the previous losses

And I think if ALL those bets lost he was done with session and admitted defeat for the session and left. Of course we'd just walk out of one place and go across the street to resume play somewhere else. To me that wasn't quitting. But oh well.

I remember a hilarious conversation we had over dinner where he first explained the system to be and I said, "so your betting against one side making 1 in a row."

He replied, "NO! I'm betting against one side making 5 in a row!"

I said, "but you're only betting on one hand so it's, one in a row."

He said, "You don't understand I'm waiting until one side has made 4-in-a-row before making that bet so it's 5 IN-A-ROW!!!"

I said, "but you're only making one bet."

It went on like that for an hour with no resolution and both of us thinking the other was an idiot.

I've been thinking about my agenda and motivation and while I'm not contradicting you there are things you don't know and couldn't, as I have not shared them. Not sure I knew them myself until yesterday. I actually typed out a new thread post where I was going to share my epiphany with all of you. Just as I was about to hit post the power cable came out of my computer (cat related) and I lost the whole thing. I do not have time to rewrite it this morning but I will.

Could you reserve judgment until I can fully share. Then you can judge me with more information.

Just to let you know what I'm going to tell you all is quite painful for me to talk about. So please just be a wee tad compassionate. I guaranteed you, it's not exactly what you think.

I will try to retype it tonight.

P.S. Yes I am mildly on the spectrum. Good catch, most don't pick up on it.

TMI Frank. You might try to reserved some of your thoughts for people with whom you have a personal relationship. I think it's called "filter."

I have never understood the logic behind betting against any streak. If you bet with the streak you can only lose one time, if you bet against it you can certainly lose more than one time. You can lose multiple times. Because you never know for sure what the outcome is going to be you should always bet with the streak.

To me betting against a streak is the same logic as finding a $20 bill in the street and not picking it up because you're waiting to find a $50 bill. You're ignoring what is right in front of you because because you think you might do better later. Betting with a streak is always a win-win situation for managing your losses because you know exactly how many times you're going to lose. Once.

My favorite story about this is years and years ago in Vegas I was watching roulette and there were eight or nine blacks in a row and this guy comes running up dragging his suitcase behind him because he was just checking in. He put $100 on red and played a Martingale until his entire bankroll was gone and it was still coming up black. He sat there looking like a balloon that somebody let the air out of mumbling that he just blew his entire bankroll for the weekend. And like an idiot I said to him why didn't you just bet with the streak and you would have only lost once when the streak ended. He looked at me like I was insane, like I had just escaped from a mental ward. It was around that time that I stopped trying to wise people up, it just pisses them off. LOL

    Is that bullshit? Lol.
Everything we learn comes from someone else ... . The only thing that doesn't is a/the theory of everything. Such must "evolve" strictly from and on its own terms.

Really, nar, you can't be serious. Besides that type of play being nothing more than hocus pocus, prior hands, shoe behaviour being some kind of beacon for future decision making, even more ludicrous is the suggestion a team was formed/managed to play this way, it's utter nonsense.

Had you perhaps said, a team not sitting at the same table for obvious reasons, flat bet Banker for 8 or 10 hours, or tracked card values, or even you as an individual played this way, might have carried more credence. A team doing this prior hands voodoo shit, no savvy gambler would ever engage others to play this way on their behalf, utter nonsense.

He's just looking for an excuse to respond, this is his MO, this is how he creates his most prolific poster legacy before he receives his calling.

Another long winded blurb about living off "out of date food", he doesn't really get it. We all like a bargain, damn I'll buy "use by to day" items in a super-market if they are discounted enough, half price pork (eat and freeze the rest), I think it is human nature.

What broke-ass Alfie doesn't get, is that he tries to portray himself as having beaten Roulette, the only person who can do, smarter than Einstein, smarter than any person he's seen over 10 years ago in a casino, and the rest of us are hugely jealous, he only aims for a 1 unit profit yet dines like a tramp, an oxymoron.

Sure he can explain the safety of eating bacteria free 120 year old cans of food until the cows come home, it's the fact that his claims should have made him a very wealthy fruit-cake and allowed him to buy whole fish and not be concerned that the head and tail won't be consumed, he should be dinning in first class restaurants, instead he trying to justify the equivalence a hobo scratching around in rubbish skips for a meal.

Yep, he does not get the irony. It's formulaic in that he must respond. It's like a moth to the flame. I wonder what he would do if we all put him on ignore? He'd probably do what Alrelax would do. He's start having conversations with himself. He has no secret to keep this time. It's not the same as his hint and withhold his secret, string on a banana trick. This time it's just the MO you pointed out. LOL

You must be responding to my secret friend who's post's I can't see, I can't even see when he's quoted. I'm always having a conversation with myself in every post I make. I probably said this a hundred times over the years, I post for my own edification. I don't care what other people think about it or what they get out of it. It's a fact that most people post this way whether they know it or not. They are posting for themselves not for the people reading it. You're funny, Mark. You make a post about somebody and when they respond, you go haha, gotcha, I made you respond. What you like to do is say you're going to disappear but then you never do. You constantly say you're going to disappear but you're back the next day defending yourself because somebody attacked you. So you're doing exactly what you think is funny that you do to other people. Surely you see this.

Omg it took me 5 min to understand the difference between betting for or betting against and why it was different. I really do not have a normal brain.

I seem to see things that no one else does and yet it’s hard for me to understand things that everyone understands Easily.
