Anyone saying anything negative about Dan or anything about it is fucking pathetic.

Fuck you, Axel. I said nothing bad about Dan the person, whom I did not know. I was respectful to both his memory, and anyone who considered him a friend.

But the fact is that for 5 years, as the persona PGD, he railed against AP's, calling us cheats and criminals. He chose to sit in judgment of us. AND at the same time he vehemently defended the casino industry of which he was a part of. He chose to draw a red line in the sand.

This is a guy that was clearly no friend of AP's, likely to the point that he would rat out someone if he had the chance. I mean when you continually refer to people as cheats and criminals, why wouldn't you rat them out? Given the opportunity he likely would have taken my ad your livelihood away. THAT is the position he espoused for 5 years.

If you were his friend, I am sorry for your loss. I didn't wish anything bad to him, because again, I didn't know him as a person. But I am not going to pretend that I am sad that the persona, PGD, who rallied against AP's and was clearly no friend to AP's is no longer posting.

Who are you referring to here MrV?

Apparently being a ranting alcoholic is a prerequisite for being a legit "machine pro" as
    Little
Wolfie has shown us he doesn't fall far from the Mickey rant tree.

    QFIT, of course.

I was thinking that he's like a hair ball caught in your throat; time to do some expectorating.

That's who I thought you meant. Qfit doesn't live in Vegas, he lives in a highrise in NYC.

I think Axel would be a rank amateur compared to me. I never left a bar without drinking them out of a liter of their good whiskey. But all good things must come to and end, as they say. I'm in my 87th day of sobriety. I'm 64 years old. That doesn't leave much time. There's to many things I want to do before they shovel dirt on my ass. The booze was getting in the way and had to go.

PS: I've gone to a lot of funerals in my life. Just paying my respects as you were. But there were a few funerals I went to just to make sure the son-of-a-bitch was dead.

    Congratulations to you MickeyC.

Since your exit at WoV was more about you 'PUI' than anything else, if WoV was truly interested in the AP community, they would make an effort to reinstate you and the mods that are cross-over members would strongly encourage that. I would love to be proven wrong, but I'll bet that doesn't occur, which will continue to be their loss.

I definitely appreciate that, thank you. Attempting to speak for other people often leads to conflict with the people for whom you are purportedly speaking, which I'm sure some parties would love. In addition to only being responsible for my actions, that's another reason why I don't do it.

Anyone's actions are, you guys can talk about whatever you like. Unfortunately, I have to be directly involved with something to even partially answer for it.

I'm concerned about Doxxing and maybe egregious personal insult to a very small extent. As long as I still have his ear for those things, it's cool. He can run his Forum however he wants, or they can run their Forum however they want, whatever the case.

It's honestly tough to say whether or not I'd even read this thread if I didn't have to worry about being Doxxed again, to be honest. I'd probably keep in touch with MC, yourself...maybe KewlJ by PM on here, but that'd likely be about it.

I take Freddy at face that he won't doxx me again, but I don't trust the other one. As long as I'm here anyway, I might as well answer to stuff as long as the people here don't annoy me too badly.

In the case of the second person, it's funny to see him comment about my supposed need to defend WoV from the people here when it was only me getting Doxxed here that brought me back in the first place.

The Admin here can do as he likes. I found the amount of time he spent saying that he wasn't going to respond to you amusing, other than that, nothing really worthy of note happened.

Freddy can also do what he likes. I'm becoming increasingly unconcerned about what Freddy has to say. He and BWC can ride their dead horses into the sunset together. I'll still respond to Freddy though, theoretically, assuming he says something worth responding to again.

If you saddle a dead horse, would the horse/saddle technically be a stool, do you think?

Why not? I'm sure the matter is just begging for a 13,285th visitation.

    That's good advice.

    Ugh...if they must, I guess.

From the perspective of some present company, the same thing 10,000 more times in only about twenty different ways.

That would be true except for that whole pesky, "Me jumping to your defense in exactly one hour," thing:

From Page 20 of the subject matter thread one hour later:

No, it's better than that, really! Why? If I am a planted spy, KewlJ planted me!

From: https://www.gamblingforums.com/threads/wizardofvegas-forum-is-dying.3391/page-90 (Quoting Only Relevant Material)

    Further on down the page:

    Further:

So, the notion of me coming here as some sort of, 'Spy,' while popular, is laughable. I was then gone from this site for several months and only came back when it was brought to my attention that I was being doxxed here. That was pretty much my entire, 'Agenda.'

I'm starting to question whether or not KewlJ is delusional. There's really not much doubt as to his intelligence (reasonably high) so it can't be that.

Not quite. If you have anything good or bad to say about him, the time was when he was alive, and the place was to his face. This sort of talk is what we ought to expect and respect from each other in an unbiased and uncensored fashion. For starters, keep the talk of the dead off the forums. It certainly isn't about me to say this.

KewlJ offered his condolences which I read as sincere. Then he called Paigowdan a dick...which is his opinion that he has every right to. His recollection of the facts seem to be accurate. Here are some Paigowdan quotes straight from the pages of WoV. Maybe they will shed some light on the long running Paigowdan vs AP dispute.

PGD: "Card counting smacks of a hostile screw the gambling industry and any honest player".

PGD: For that matter, one could just as well counterfeit transit passes and get their jollies".

PGD: Card counting, armed robbery, stealing another player's chips, molesting the cocktail waitress etc are all out of bounds".

These quotes are there. They don't disappear when you die. This was the theme over past 7 years between Paigowdan and card counters. Can anyone see why the counters would be upset? Oh and KewlJ offered his condolences a second time.

How about the posts by Shackleford? He had a lot to say, some of which could be looked at as inappropriate.

"The record should show he was a smoker".

    "I'd estimate about a pack a day".

"He could have stood to lose a few pounds too".

"I would lay long odds his poor health was a major factor in Dan's passing."

Well thank you Dr Shackleford. Are they all going to bet on it now?

Then he posts a link to Paigowdan's facebook page. Then he posts a link to the time he suspended Paigowdan. Then he posts a link to Paigowdan's grieving widow's facebook page.

Finally, he's holding a service at his home for Paigowdan...a nice gesture except for the fact that it's being officiated by the fake 'reverend' DJ Teddy Bear.

What is tis notion of "only say good things or say nothing at all"? Ok, let's see...Adolph Hitler was a pretty talented painter. All indications are he loved his mother. o_O And no, I am not attempting to make any comparison of Dan Lubin to Adolph Hitler, so don't anyone go there.

This isn't Mr Lubin's funeral or memorial service where a "say good things or nothing" thing would be appropriate. This is a freaking internet Forum. And this thread is a discussion of another internet forum. And on that second internet forum, where both I and PaigowDan participated, PaigowDan was a dick. All indications were that specifically intended to be a dick. He frequently initiated and instigated discussions to air his extreme views. Hell, in the thread announcing his death, Wizard himself described Dan as "argumentative with some extreme opinions on matters of advantage play". Oh where's the outrage of that?

Those that knew Dan Lubin describe him as a wonderful person. I didn't know him personally. That is why I separated the person from the internet persona. I knew him from an internet forum and as PaigowDan on that internet forum, PaigowDan went out of his way to be argumentative, confrontational and was very judgmental on this particular topic of which he and I went back and forth a number of times. AND his opinion and views were asinine. It wasn't a matter that he was pro-casino and I am an AP. Most people who didn't have a dog in the fight found PaigowDan's position to be asinine. I even went so far as to give him the benefit of doubt in saying I don't believe he even believed half of what he was arguing. I really don't.

Thank you for that. Very kind of you.

I assume that your 3 uncharacteristic outbursts are part of your grieving process. I enjoyed Paigodan too and feel badly.

Now let's talk about your post in the WoV miscellaneous thread.

GWAE: "I have plans to be in Vegas for 3 nights in Aug WITHOUT the kids".

    AxelWolf: "Susan Smith plans?"

I can't think of any setting where that comment would be acceptable. Some things you just don't joke about...especially the murder of children. I'll let those who haven't heard of her look it up. FleaStiff even called on the mods to review it. Beached also voiced her displeasure.

Axelwolf thinks everything is a joke and/or he tried to make a joke of everything. Most of these comments are based in peoples sexuality and personal lives. And most of them are at a Jr high level. He defends this behavior by saying that is the way he and his friends interact with each other. I mean he is what a 40-50 years old guy and he and his friends go around giving each other wedgies like they are in 7th grade. That seems to be where he is stuck.

Axelwolf's AP knowledge and participation is extremely valuable on a AP related site, but IMO, it's all negated by his constant JR high sexual innuendos and comments. Most just aren't even funny, they just highlight his immaturity.

For Freddy, who so fastidiously researches historical posts, he may notice that KewlJ gripes about the departed while at the same time griping that he can't defend himself against ZenKinG's post at WoV.

You know, that one that I allegedly didn't address.

I got to hit two different double standards from two people in one post...cool.

I didn't see it as griping at all....just a factual post.

Just because you may not agree doesn't change the facts....something that the brainwashed Kool-Aid drinkers will never understand. And your excuse for coming here out of fear of doxxing is not believable. I told you and the rest of the forum that I wouldn't and you keep bringing it up. It's almost as if you secretly want me to. Very strange. Someone sent me a photo of your former house in L@%&^%$y and I deleted it.

I also haven't called you husband of the year. I didn't give you that name and have only used it once or twice quite a while ago. Don't worry about me doxxing...my word is good. Now if I could just stop talking about that article you wrote.
