If you get banned from a business, a place which you disagree with and don't like.....who the fuck cares?

If you get banned from a store you like, then a reasonable person would file a complaint and put up some fight. A reasonable person would not become obsessed with their ban.

But a person who doesn't like a business, gets banned, then becomes obsessed about it......yeah, that's definitely not normal. (Yes, Larry, I know...no one made me the arbitrater or whatever on this kinda stuff.)

 

Perhaps the rule that declares 'open season' for somebody who has been nuked might play a part of it.

If it were only me, then you have a valid point. But if I also see my neighbors continually mistreated...then I feel the need to continually speak up.

As I have said many many times, and it doesnt sink into your damaged brain......Most of my comments are about how my neighbors are treated....maybe 10percent is where I talk about my personal suspension.

To me, an outsider, this is the most sensible thing anyone has said.

A lot of the stuff Larry and Freddy and KJ say does sound like moaning after getting booted from a frat. However, and it's a ginormous however, if somebody booted me from WoV and declared open season on me in absentia, I would publicly ream WoV at every opportunity and make it an ongoing campaign.

I mean, geez, that is an obvious response to that kind of rule. Do you really think people will just take that and slink away?

If WoV finds these responses to open season in absentia baffling, then that is truly weird. WoV created the problem by allowing that. Why would any sensible business allow public bashing of banned members? It has to bite you in the ass eventually and often.

Evidently WoV feels its ass is bite-proof. That's just asking for problems. Nick Saban doesn't allow his players to bad mouth 1-AA teams. There's a reason for that. There's no upside.

Didn't know there was an "open season" on banned members rule. Pretty sure insults are permitted against non-members, not that there's an open season to insult banned members. If I'm not mistaken, there was recently a thread made specifically to attack a banned member (Larry?) and the thread was closed. Try looking for a thread like this one, where people post over and over again about some obsession about specific banned members. Sure the subject comes up from time to time....but it sure as hell ain't no open season.


LarryS, I don't personally believe you are here to help/support/defend the "unjustly" banned members of WOV, but you're here specifically to attack WoV. You don't defend anyone, you just attack WOV (i.e.: the ammunition you say WOV gives you). You probably don't give a shit about KJ or anyone else....but since you & co have been banned, you pretend to side with them and befriend them.

The facts speak for themselves. Since day 1 I have spent the majority of the tome defending my fellow neighbors . Pointing out the mistreatment of others.
And yes a thread attacking me occurred with no punishment. Therefore it is not a rules violation.
And jabs at me for many months before this thread occurred with no punishment for "insults"...because there is a rule that it is allowed. The manboy ruled on it, and stated it more than once according to mission.

So what if I give back what they give to me...10x.....20x......100x? And what if what i give back is 10x severe.

Her action was consistent with forum rules.

see: "rule 16:

1. Messages from banned members: Do not quote anything, neither public nor private, a banned member has said. If we ban somebody it means we don't want to hear from them any longer. (Added 6/9/2016)"

So no, she didn't close it because someone struck a nerve; it should never have been given the short amount of life it was given.

It didn't help the thread that its creator was 2F.

Not only is that badly written, it clearly leaves paraphrasing banned members "legal." So if they don't mean to do that, better get out their notepads and get to work.

 

the vast majority of the thread was not posting messages to banned members. And there is no rule about not posting about"goings on over there".

So if on any thread, someone paraphrases a poster from another board that had been banned...then the entire thread is closed?
