RS, you did defend me, both at WoV and Norm's site and I appreciate that. I said Axel didn't defend me (which is his right, but I just expected more). I didn't include you in that statement. You and Romes, were great and I appreciate it.

Now it's an "FU PM" ?? Where did I say Fuck you?

Let's rewind and go back to the time line. I was responding to a statement that Mike made in which he said he could not let me back because there would be consequences from Norm. His exact words were "Norm would turn his attacks to Mike instead of me".

So I wanted Mike to know there would be consequence from me as well. Here is what I said "I don't consider what I am doing as attacking you, but I can promise you this....I will not let this go. I will bring up your handling of this situation, every chance I get. In my book, next year. If I decide to do GWAE as Munchin has asked. On every site that I participate on......for the rest of my life. And since I am almost 20 years younger than you, that should cover the rest of your life. Every couple weeks or couple months, I will be somewhere questioning your integrity, honesty and professionalism. And hopefully the guys here at WoV that know that you were unfair will continue to bring it up every few weeks".

Granted, a little aggressive and not the nicest tone, but where is this threat or FU that you guys are referring to?? I simply told him what my response (in terms of actions would be). And guess what....I have done and will continue to do exactly what I said. It was a heads up not a threat.

And here is an important thing. This PM that I made was made on 5/29/16 at 3:44 pm. The PM Mike made where for the first time he seemed to be working towards a fair resolution and made a fair offer to resolve the situation, was made at 5/29/16 at 3:31 pm. So while Mike's message and offer was made first, 13 minutes before mine, I had not read his message and offer, and was not aware of it. And Mike is not a stupid guy. He had to know that those messages basically crossed each other. But he didn't even allow for any further communication. I actually composed a message explaining that but when I tried to send it received notification that he had disabled my account.

He said he might not be able to respond every day which was understandable
I will assume he might be easily swayed.making me appreciate face.

I think "punishment" is the exact correct term. Something was taken from me. Something that I enjoyed. And for no real reason. The person who imposed this 'punishment' even stated that I had broke no rules. If not punishment, what word would you prefer?
Yep....and I am not even a bottom.
I return to Philly twice a year Boz. I appreciate the offer, but respectfully decline. From my short time (8 years) in Philly, I consider Philly my hometown. I live in Vegas and love Vegas and bleed neon. Vegas is home. But when someone asks me where I am from, I say Philly (where I spent 8 years, not Florida where I spent 18 years.

And I am a sports guy and love the Philly sports teams. But Pro basketball is my least favorite. College basketball is my favorite sport and Villanova my favorite team. I used to hit 8-10 games a year when I lived there. So this years NCAA run and championship was the highlight of my life so far :) (my apologizes to my significant other...lol), topping the Phillies 2008 world series win and parade down Broad street, which was 2 blocks from where I lived in center city. In 2008 I hit about 30 Phillies games, buying standing room only tickets for $5, which went on sale the day of the game. Who needs a seat in that stadium, you wonder around having a beer here and there, meeting and talking to people.

Philadelphia fans are the greatest. They have endured so much losing and they support the teams even those the teams seem to be in a perpetual state of rebuilding. The Phillies and Sixers have taken that rebuilding to the extremes the past few years. Actually trying to lose in order to draft higher and rebuild. The fact that fans showed up for those games is amazing to me. So I hope for your sake, this god awful plan that the Sixers have executed under the guise of "rebuilding" works out. God knows you and anyone who calls themselves a Sixers fan deserves it. God bless you, Boz for "trusting the process" and remaining loyal. :)

I lived near Philly for awhile, and so far as I'm concerned, two really good things have come out of that city since the American Revolution: soft pretzels and the Mummers.

Love those soft pretzels sold by bums with pushcarts; best way to beat a NYE hangover: get up early and watch the Mummers do their string band thing.

For those who have lived sheltered lives, here's a glimpse of what you've been missing:

Anyone that has ever communicated privately with Norm knows that he is absolutely nuts. I am not just name-calling....he is quite literally insane. He has no grasp on reality and everything is about everyone that has done him wrong throughout history. He has had long feuds with dozens (that's plural) of some of the most successful AP's in the community, including site owners. And everyone of these feuds involve him threatening to sue them or reporting them to some agency or oversight organization.

Until recently, if you hadn't had the opportunity to deal with him personally, you wouldn't know how crazy he was, because he comes across as pretty normal, and level headed on message board sites, or at least he did until recently. In the last 6 months, his behavior on BJ21 (a blackjack message board previously owned by Stanford Wong, now owned by the same online group that owns WoV) going after me and again on WoV, going after me and continuing on WoV after I was gone, has really exposed his rapidly declining mental state.

Make no mistake, he has damaged my reputation, which he set out to do. But he has damaged his own reputation far greater. I am a peon. Small potatoes in the AP community. A lowly card counter, grinding out a living. Norm is one of the great blackjack mathematicians and his software has benefited so many players from professional to hobbyist. In my own case, I know in no uncertain terms, that I would not be where I am today, without having benefited from Norm's software.

I try to separate the two, Norm's tremendous contribution to the blackjack community and the fact that he is nuts....but it's hard to do. And now his declining mental state has spilled over to his blackjack website. When he started the website, less than 5 years ago, it was immediately one of the top two blackjack AP websites, second to only BJ21. Norm's site had many professional and successful players at all levels participating. And nearly all have left because he has allowed the site to be taken over by a handful of outcasts making ridiculous claims. Mathematically impossible claims. Claims that the mathematical expert Norm of a few years ago, would have never stood for. And now nearly all those successful players are gone, or participate very infrequently, having been banned or driven away and Norm's site is universally recognized as pretty much a voodoo site, dominated by a handful of people in a fantasy world.

I honestly feel bad that Norm's decline of the last couple years, is going to tarnish his legacy. And I feel bad that I am a part of that with my feud with him taking center stage and spilling on to multiple sites throughout the community. I wonder if I could have/should have done things differently. But I feel like, if it wasn't me, it would have been someone else. Norm seems to seek out confrontation and even now, he is involved with feud, war of words with multiple AP's (just a slightly less magnitude than the one with me).

I personally think he is an asshole and don't care about his contributions to counting. I have another ap that is very smart that has asked me to get involved with him numerous times- but he is batshit crazy so it's not worth it.
Kj- I dated a stripper one time and she had a stalker - that's how I equate norm- he is out to get you no matter what- nothing you can say or do with stop him Exocet ignoring him- I feel bad the way mike handled it but unfortunately you gave him an easy out in the end when you flipped- it might be time just to move on

So Norm is bat shit crazy? Thats good to know. When Norm says shit Shackleford squats. Thats some funny shit. Shack is afraid of a crazy motherfucker? Are you kidding me? Shack, show some balls, bitch. Are you going to let that punk piece of shit, coward piece of shit, lowlife piece of shit, Norm Wattenberger, push you around.

Norm, I'm a little different breed of cat. How about you and me meet on Main Street at high noon to solve our differrences. A manly conversation, bitch. A manly conversation between you and me. Do you have the balls to show up in a spot like that? Just you and me. No weapons, no nothing. Just two men solving their differences.

I will tell you something about such a confrontation, Norm Wattemberger. I think you are a sucker for a right cross right off the bat. Maybe its a left jab that you can't stand. Or maybe you are a sucker for a left hook.

Whatever your weakness is, Norm. I personally think you are a sucker for a right cross. I will invite you into the bar for a drink after you wake up.

    Not even with your dick!

(at the risk of going off topic, I didn't say I was a top either.....not in the sense that you are thinking. Let's just say I am very particular about where I put my 'little friend'. But a mouth is nice...twice a day. ;))

That's an interesting point, Mickey. Shackleford and Qfit communicated via email regularly when Norm re-emerged on the scene. So if Mike didn't know how crazy Norm was at the beginning, he surely found out along the way. Norm would not have been able to control himself and most definitely would have gone on his usual rambling emails, way off topic.

I was told that Norm emailed Mike 19 times within a 24 hour period, requesting that I be banned for breaking the truce that was being forced on me. Nineteen emails in a 24 hour period! That in itself, without even knowing the contents of those emails, just screams "crazy"!!

I am sure Mike's admiration of a fellow math guy that he considers a friend, would make it difficult for him to be honest, but I would bet that he even knows....Norm has lost it.
