WoN: you never took the bar exam?

Did you even get your J.D.?

It is ridiculous to spend big bucks and three of the best years of your life going to law school and then not even TRY to reach for the brass ring.

Some law students drop out, realizing that a life in the law is not for them, and others flunk out.

What happened to you along the way?

Micky, I completed and got my jd at the time I was in law school in the east coast- my friend were applying for jobs were working 80/90 hour weeks - during my second year instead of a clerkship I worked for Morgan Stanley- I was offered a job at the same or equal what my friends were making upon graduation with half the hours- this was in the peak of the stock market boom and I felt at he time my options for income level were much greater on wall street

Looks like it is probably $24,700.00 - orange typically representing $1000, purple $500 and black $100.

As far as meet ups, I cant think of many that I would want to have a real conversation with. Possibly you, B9 and Face would be interesting because from what you have posted over the years,I know you 3 are not one trick ponies with only opinions on gambling.

And then there are a load of people Like Boz who would want to talk about the wov forum....which to me is insignificant in my life. 30 minutes a day 5 days a week is enough. And believe me, when I am away from this site...I am not gabbling to my wife, friends, and relatives about wov or GF, or john patrick, or stanton. Its rather trivial outside my 30 minutes a day( and maybe 5 min on weekends from smartphone)

I would much rather talk politics/social issues, or talk about sports betting techniques OR HOLD-EM strategy.

I am not a sports fan, so unless I bet on the games, its not like I can talk for hours about my favorite team, or anyones favorite team.
And I would refuse to talk about people from online....especially in a negative way...since they wouldnt be privy to the conversation.

I do have real "friends" as I am sure you do. You know ...people that remember your birthday, and are at your loved ones funerals to support you. People you have things in common with.

The people online are not my "friends"....I have no idea if I have anything in common with them.

my guess it will mostly be a short conversation...."hi how are you"....after that I find alot of the folks I talk about, and with, to be rather socially backward, and not very good conversationalists outside this small section of the universe called message boards.

Although I agree with freddy on alot of things...I have no idea if we have anything in common....and I am not going out of my way to find out. And I am sure he feels the same about me.

For the same reason I would not really go out of my way to meet patrick or stanton. I cant learn anything from them as far as poker and sports betting....so whats the real value.

I was going to meet Boz....until he stated making reference to meeting so we can talk about my views about wov.....what a fucking boring topic when out and about in the world. Plus he then posted stuff out of context involving me...without even providing a link so people could view the context....leaving me to do it. So again, I am not going to meet someone to rehash what I say here.

for the socially backward, making and keeping friends is indeed real "work"

your choice of words, says it all...from your experience its must be "work"

Well freddy....you were right...I was wrong.
you said mission was just like the rest.

Well he did come here and admit that there are things he disagrees with but.......................he is just the cop and not the law maker....

but when the questions got too tough.....he folded.

    no goodbye......just a silent exit.

he left after asking for links to questions that were asked of him.

    links provided.....but no return.,,,no response.

oh yeah he did warn us he may not responds for a few days.

I think its fair to say he is gone(over 2 weeks).....and has the hand of someone holding him back.....holding him by his balls

I bet freddy is saying....i told you so.

    to me

Kinda like WoN's "real girl" on his chest....you have "real friends".

Or did you not put 2 and 2 together?

well being socially backward, you have no idea your attempt at a parallel.

Mr V a long time ago referred to meating "Friends" in reference to meeting people from wov.

His definition of "friends" is different than mine.

If I were to meet people from online I dont refer to them as "friends"...at least not "real friends"....you know the ones that you see at your children's weddings or vacation with.

However referring to a woman supposedly laying on your chest as a :"real girl".....is laughable.
There is no opposing "fake girl" context that anyone could think of except possibly a blow up doll.

But for "real friends" there is a legitimate opposing context where it is loosely used to include acquaintances ...so as long as I am speaking to someone who includes acquaintances as "friends"....then I do have the ability to differentiate what a "real friend" means to me

It doesnt mean my definition stands as universal....it just means I voice an opinion with a differentiator that applies to "friend" but doesnt apply to "girls". who lay on ones chest.

you will catch on possibly one day, but right now I sense things are tough for you. Keep up your comments, and maybe your will eventually be able to converse in a logical manner.

I don't think most people that meet up from WOV (or whatever gambling forum) sit around and have a full blown conversation about the site or it's members. It might be an icebreaker or a brief topic of conversation. I have meet plenty of people from WOV even outside of the WOVCON or whatever event they're having. Rarely does the conversation of WOV come up. For the most part you're just meeting people who are interested in gambling, casinos, vegas or AP. Oftentimes you'll find out some interesting things about the person and many have some good stories. You might not be close friends with everyone however there's times you can share good information with each other beneficial to both people. You never know where that may lead.

Don't knock meeting people from gambling forums there's a fairly diverse group of people. You got guys from the wrong side of the tracks to the highly educated, intelligent and successful people.

I have meet people from VOW who have become real life friends(at least 6 people), people I trust with a key to my house, SS number, bank account, credit card etc. People who have meet my family, people I oftentimes have dinner with, get together during some holidays, see shows with, shoot pool, go to the movies, watch sporting events, play games with, go to clubs, play poker, chess, Video games, challenge each other, play practical jokes on each other do business take each other to the airport, guys that would help me if I needed it and visa versa. One of my friends busted his leg up pretty bad at Red Rock while hiking. We went out got his car returned it to his house, we visited and brought him stuff in the hospital he was out of commission for many months and had to have multiple surgeries. Since he didn't have family here in Vegas it would've been hard to function without his friends from WOV. There's been many times my friends from WOV have helped and supported each other with and though personal stuff.

You can't always judge people from what they say on the forums either (Sometimes you can and people are exactly like you assumed). I remember thinking Rudeboyoi was a jerk. I didn't like his views and he said some off putting things. Once I got to know him I realized he's a cool guy who's got a kind heart always offering to to help out. Someone you want as a friend.

Wizard of ISIS. Do you dream about us at night too? Aren't you flying today? I heard there's an Ultimate X in Vegas with some credits left. Or are you on the no fly list?

Is it still 107 casinos that you have visited this year? Can we get an update... 120, 130? Fly, fly away.

Oh well, you're the type of guy who likes to fly around

You're always on a plane/you're never on the ground

    They call you a wanderer/yeah a wanderer

You roam around, around, around, around

Oh well, there's Beached whale on your left and there's Fat blonde on your right

And manboy is the one yeah that you'll be with tonight

And when they ask you which one you love the best

You tear open your shirt and you sit them on your chest

    'Cause you're a wanderer - yeah a wanderer

You roam around, around, around, around
